    The battlefield 1942 demo was so good i bought the game. I usually pirate and battlefield 1942 is the only game I've ever bought. I was thinking of buying wc3 but I doubt blizzard would see any of the money anyways now.

    Reducing price will not necessarily get you more customers. The customers would likely equate cheap == bad. I presume microsoft have studied this quite thoroughly as they care more about market share than profits

    And the aluminum required to build those cars to be light enough to be practical requires huge amounts of electricity -- and most of that energy is created by burning coal.

    You don't really lose the energy since aluminum is very recyclable.

    How the hell did this troll get modded +5? Yes I know there isn't much love for the federal government among a lot of Americans but this i just stupid. I really don't know if your government is as incompetent as you say that they are but to say that central planning will always lead to ditches is ignorant at best. A reasonable government would delegate the work and make sure it gets done. I'm not saying this is the best solution but it's probably a good way to create jobs and get some good out of it.

    It obviously can work... just look at Sweden

    let's say you have a list of numbers in a random order. Some guy wants to register for voting. He is given a number that then is crossed over and his name (or SSN or whatever you USAians wants to use) is also crossed over. There should be no link between his identifier and his number

    that's a pretty easy problem isn't it? Couldn't each voter get some form of random number with which they vote. It would be trivial to check if the number is only being used once and it would be quite easy to make sure that each voter only get one number (which number the voter gets is not recorded anywhere)

    Be warned, both of those games are basically only good for the multiplayer, so keep that in mind.

    I don't really think that's fair to CoD4. I thought the singleplayer campaign was pretty fun and the voice acting was nice as well. It felt pretty much like a long, good hollywood movie (that you died a lot in if you played on hard =)

    what torrents are you downloading if there is a risk of getting a rootkits? also if you wait a while for the game to be properly cracked there shouldn't be any problems with running or installing them.
