    I imagine the situation is a bit different in USA but I can't see any problems with doing it in Sweden. You could probably do it with a bit of effort.

    Newtonian physics may not be correct but they are certainly science. (And they are correct enough for most cases). ID makes no predictions and is not falsifiable unlike newtonian physics.

    I'm no physicist but wouldn't the effect of gravity be very, very minor? I admit my first thought after reading the title was that gravity was responsible but i suspect the physicists already considered that and that somehow TFS reflects at least somewhat what the physicists think :)

    Residential would also be an easy target for reduction if by residential you are talking about heating? If so there are loads of different ways that are all better and cheaper (like heat pumps for example)

    it's interesting to solve all the maps in as short time as possible or least amount of portals as well. It makes you realize different ways to do most maps.

    just take out an insurance against getting caught by *AA and all problems would be solved. *AA will get settlement money, insurance companies will get some money and the pirates will pay a small yearly fea for unlimited downloads.... or just make filesharing for non-commercial purposes legal.

    I really can't see how this could be modded offtopic. I can certainly see this being downmodded but offtopic? It's about as ontopic as you can get!

    What i wanted to convey was simply that i really liked the previous KoTOR games and I definitely do not want to invest the time and money in another lame MMORPG.

    At least i can still look forward to the Sith Lords Restoration Project

    and why can't windows just leave the swap alone? You shouldn't have to make a ram-drive just to get some decent performance. Linux can disable swap altogether which is just sweet.

    I don't really see how encryption matters and Xen for example (obviously it wouldn't need to be as advanced as xen) can run most OSes without a typical user noticing it (or maybe it's impossible to know at all? I don't know that much about this).

    it is possible to run vista on a 800MHz with 512MB of RAM. ok, maybe i shouldn't have used the word run.... more like limps. but my point is it is possible.
