I think there will be a big quest between Staroffice 6.0 and KOffice. Although I don't believe Staroffice will have so many nice features like KOffice.
We will have to wait a little longer to make the big compare since Staroffice 6 isn't out for what may be a "little longer" (they started speading the word about a beta version July 25 2001). People who are willing to betatest Staroffice (when a beta would be out) can leave there email address on the sun - staroffice site.
If I see the many features of KOffice, things are made easy, KOffice will be used here. I just hope I don't have to install too many libs. (I'm on Slack.)
I'm looking forward to play with such a device.
How long will it remain secure? I think the best thing would be if part of the Linux kernel is embedded in the crypt-hardware. (Don't panic, you can flash for a new kernel image.) Anyway, I think that would be a lot more secure. Please correct me if I'm wrong here!
Things are more complex than just the amount of voltage you get through your body. One can die from 400V and survive from a shock of 10000V. How come? The current is very important and so is how well you are grounded.
(The funny thing is, the 220V (110V US) we use daily is less dangerous than the 24V in your phone when ringing.)
How much current is dangerous? Well, 5 milliamperes can be felt, 10 will be felt and hurts, 15 will really hurt, 30 will freeze you on to the current source. And we are just talking about milliamperes people.
I know, guess what... I worked with PLC too, Siemes S7 etc. We did quite the same tests. Like you said, it's hard... but once you have the result... well, let's just say that we would have been happy;) We never did it work. So I was just kidding about the 220 on my box..
I like Mozilla. From time to time I donwload a nightly build. They came a long way! So keep up the spirit guys!
I think that Mozilla 1.0 is more than a number. It's like a motivation. First number no langer 0.

They can say whatever they want. Linux will bloom people!
Would you please keep in mind that there might be a lot of Anonymous Cowards that do not agree with you?
We all know there are ways to generate gravity.
This can be done by clinorotation. Here is more about that.
Good thing... Xbox is M$ isn't it?

I don't like the idea of putting 240V (110V US) on my ethernet card.
