  1. LOTS OF IDEAS TO SOLVE BOT PROBLEM.. on Estonian ISP Shuts Srizbi Back Down, For Now · · Score: 1

Why not start a site that automatically checks and updates users computers against the botnet? Like a virus scanner.. I am sure that with most people are unaware that the computer they use daily is sending spam to thousands of people. And most people would click the free update to put a end once and for all to the spam in the world. Sites like youtube and google cnn bbc face book and myspace should make it manditory to pass a clean bill of health to visit the sites. Start making people log into the sites with a personal ISP address (one that has to have a registered global position of the persons home address or billing location). I believe that there are twice as many answers to the problems as their are problems. (the registered confirmed addressess, (kinda like the email confirmations) sounds like the best way to stop the stupid game).. And if the "botnet" is making someone so much money, wouldnt it make since to trace the money to its destionation to find the person or persons behind it?? I mean tell me if I am wrong here, but its the internet where just about anything is possible, Get with microsoft, linux, and the others, and make a manditory update to end the botnets once and for all, hell make the anonymousity of the web a thing of the past for all I care, I would like to see them catch the bastards who keep sending me 35 emails a day trying to sell me viagra, and watch them rot in jail, (the next top interactive webcam site, one where we can pay to throw things at or shoot with something like those hunting sites,, (not real bullets of course, we wouldnt want to ruin the fun for the next guy).. A electric bed, or potty, ZAP ZAP, to set a example for anyone who would want to follow in his foot steps. And for the last thing, if people would stop clicking on the SPAM the guy wouldnt make money on it and it would not be worth his time, (YES YOU STOP CLICKING THE FRIGGEN EMAILS NO YOUR NOT THE LUCKIEST GUY ON THE INTERNET AND GOING TO GET A LOT OF MONEY FROM SOME LOTTERY THAT YOU WON OR SOME DEAD GUY WITH THE SAME LAST NAME,,, ITS ALL A SCAM))))))

It's the matter of principal, nothing more. So if MSN decided to make you have to view a 30 second add, everytime you clicked a new email, or went to a different page, would that upset you? I am sorry we are cutting on your google, Its a fact Google is on its way out. Its to bad as I once defended Google the way you did, I was a die hard Google fan just like you, and would cut anyone down who even mentioned that google sucked. Well Its a FACT, they have become just like the others yahoo and aol. They only care about the money, and not the users experiance, and thats what attracts MOST users to google. Well DOWN with GOOGLE.. As they feel they have the right to just change things around without explanation or notice, reguardless of what the people who make there business a business have to say about it. Just because its free, does not mean that we will follow them..

Yes Google is on the way down Just ask several hundred thousand users who google used as gunia pigs for a "new improved" iGoogle home page. Which left users wondering why google did not leave a Opt-out of the experiment for their users who did not wish to participate. http://groups.google.com/group/Google_Web_Search_Help/topics Then there is the fact that the experiment has been on going for close to two months, and the employees at Google seem not to be reading the surveys that we were supposed to fill out. As 99% of users are asking WHY google forced this upon them and ignoring the requests asking for a link to UN-DO what Google has done to their home pages. Check it out you could be next..

It should be his patent, damn Patent trolls are everywhere, They really need to increase the penalty for PATENT TROLLS to life in a jail filled with two inches of month old sewage, and nothing to sleep on but the floor. Ralph H. Baer, inventor of television video games and the Magnavox Odyssey console, created the first video game joysticks in 1967. They were analog, using two potentiometers to measure position.[3] (he is not offiliated with anascape in any way shape or form.) As I recall Atari was the first to put the analog controller into my hands. They should be the one's with the patent. Perhaps someone from Atari should sue anascape or who ever the person Patent trolling is.. I also think the penalty for a patent troll should be life without money. Yes take all their cash away and force them to live at the sewer dump.

We need to get the word out "down with Viacom" Lets burry them in the internet graveyard along side all the failed .coms of the internet. If anyone knows how to contact the person who's idea it was to tell the judge that they needed ALL the users data, I want that email address posted on every tech site on the net.

I used to have wireless access from over two blocks away using only a USB adapter G. What I did was to take a pan lid, A "Wok" lid made it stand up like a little satillite dish, and placed my reciever in front of it. With some fine tuneing, (aiming and positioning), I was able to find multiple options for connections from about 200 yards away through trees and a barn using only a G type adapter, So if you were to get the +N USB adapter and reciever you should be good to go? You can always return them if it dont work.. I also extended the length of the usb cord by about 25 feet to allow me to move the adapter to the back side of my house. I Soldered a old Cat5 cable to the middle of the original wire that came with the adapter.

  10. Re:What the hell... on Patent Troll Attacks Cable, Digital TV Standards · · Score: 1

A I was reading the replys to your question and it does not appear that anyone really knows what a patent troll is. A patent troll is someone who patents something that they did not invent. Back when digital came out, the creater did not think to patent it so it went unpatented. untill a patent troll realized this, and patented it. So now legally they own the rights to the digital patents. I hope this story is big enough to change the patent system that has worked for so long. This person is trying to extort money from companies, legally. and thats wrong.
