First most computers at most businesses are not used to process credit cards. A lot of companies don't process credit cards.
Microsoft has said that no personally identifiable information is collected. I believe that credit card numbers would be considered personally identifiable information.
If you don't believe that Microsoft is telling the truth about telemetry data why would you trust the enterprise edition?
It you pay full price for the phone, you still "have to trade some of my privacy to Google and some of my money to ATT every month", therefore the discounted purchase price is not in exchange for the loss of privacy.
Also the "discounted hardware" model isn't even used in most of the rest of the world.
Saying that Metro is keeping people from leaving XP is ignoring the fact that Windows 7 is still an alternative.
The people who wont leave XP are either cheap (unwilling to pay to upgrade OS or computer), stubborn (unwilling to accept any change), lazy (unwilling to do the work of upgrading) or stuck with legacy apps.
If the just SD card was dropped from the sky and almost hit me, would it be wrong for me to pick it up and take it?
How about if it was a softball that fell?
Surface RT wrokes well for what it does. It is v1.0 product in a new ecosystem. More apps are being made available everyday.
Windows 8 sales will improve when the OEMs finish with their new hardware. There are very few windows 8 PC available and most don't take advantage of the new windows 8 features.
The Nokia Lumia 920 is a very interesting phone. Many developers just got one last week at the Build event (2000+ attendees). The Lumia 900 sold pretty well also. I think it is a little early to declare that Nokia and Window's Phone are dead.
I am having that same problem on a new PC which came with Windows 10 Pro installed. Just opened the box last night. -Mike
Great news, Too many idiots with more money than brains.

Those damn SSDs have made this excuse so much less useful.
Many people do not have or know the pins for their credit cards. They likely know their ATM card, but that is about it.
Redstone was the Anniversary update Windows 10 1607 which arrived last month. Redstone 2 is the next windows release due in 2017.
Do Siri and Cortana escape the child's right to privacy?
Microsoft will not allow a person under 13 years old to use Cortana.

Based on this logic it would be fine for anyone to jump in a plane with no training and start flying, as long as they don't fly across state lines.
Luckily support for XP embedded is not ending on April 8th. It is supported until January 2014.

We need to regulate stupidity!
... should be flown a sufficient distance from populated areas ....
Am I to understand that you don't consider midtown Manhattan a "populated area"?
Don't forget adding a regulation to forbid flying unmanned aerial vehicles over crowded areas?

In theory, all aircraft (except toys, of course) are required to have an airworthiness certificate, as per FAR 91.203.
This vehicle would be considered a toy. The operators were certainly using it as a toy.
MS Security Essentials works well for me. No spam.

"Windows Developers" will own the full version of VS. For new learners, VS2010 will be fine. I don't really see what the big problem is here.
iOS on the iPad is NOT a completely open Unix OS. WindowsRT is Microsoft's IOS.
