You don't have to outright lie to change the perspective of your experience just jazz it up.
For example, I was a clerk in a store/shop/fast food...etc..
On my resume I'll put "Handled business critical transactions to facilitate companywide growth"
So for Technical support I might put "managed customer iquiries to enable a fluid business relationship and enhance overall customer satisfaction"
And instead of "technical support" I might call it "Customer service represenative" and play up the Customer service side. Any employer likes to see a little customer service skill on a resume even in a technical feild.
One last thing... Most Job interviews don't work out in my experience. It's about volume. If you want a job, increase your search range and number of interviews. Go in assuming failure and just relax. Have a shot or two of whiskey first. Couldn't hurt.
Best of luck.
Wouldn't it be more clear if it were TRON 00000010?
All the data you can chew in one convienient byte?
But then, of course, if we're talking 64 bit archetechture then it becomes TRON 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000010.
SO, the computer ignorant parents get a "win" and the kids get a workaroud! You gotta love politicians. Something for everyone! And in the process parents relax and stop paying so much attention because they have false assurances and the kids end up being more isolated and at risk. Now kids will be logging on behind their backs and cut them out of the loop completely.
>Ron Paul may have a sane foreign policy, but his economic policy leads to worsening the >nightmare situation you described. Massive deregulation is exactly what makes the money >pump from bottom to top.
Only the way we have it set up now. The rise of the modern day robber barron is actually due to anticompetitive legislation passed at all levels of government. It could be much more fair under a Paul system if much of this garbage legislation is overturned or if judges can set precident against it. Dr. Paul would only be able to fix the federal level abuses. But at least it you could pack up and move to the best states when yours fails the test. Or elect Libertarians to state and local office.
Bottom line, any way you slice it, Free market econimics is the only path to true prosperity. We just have to be vigilant against influence!
WOW, everyone on this entire thread missed the point, namely, that he did not own that store. When you manage a Gamestop store, you do it the Gamestop way. Had that guy opened his own independent shop, more power to him. And frankly as a business strategy, it might get alot of business from parental support of his concept. He should apply for a startup loan and open up shop but, c'mon, I think we all saw the writing on the wall here.....it said "GameStop" in big red corporate letters. Nice try.
So, and please pardon my ignorance here, is there just one guy controlling this thing? And couldn't an infected sytem be analyzed resulting in the discovery of the passwords/encryption keys which operate it?
Remeber all the modded consoles which ICE confiscated? That's what AT&T can and most likely will do. They will find a judge willing to give a broad interpretation of the DCMA.
>>"Also, and something that's not been adequately explained to me, but where is the line? M-16s OK? What about RPGs? AA Missiles? >>Nukes? There's either a line that most people can get behind, and shut your griping, or it's all in or all out. Make up your >>minds."
An interesting point. I think we can agree that everyone is safest when we can all kill each other equally. This applies to the armed robber in the neighborhood of the guy with the shotgun by his bed as well as two countries who have nukes. Peace through assured mutual destruction. Now THAT'S what the founding fathers had in mind!....kind of. Of course this idea presupposes an interest in self preservation. That could prove unfortunate...especially in the case of the nuke owned by the private citizen.
Oh well, the sun's gonna die in 6 billion years anyway! -hey that's a good idea for a signatre:)
Yeah, I thought I remebered reading that. Okay, so now what we need is a station like Indie Airplay (all indie music) to get hurt by this (to establish standing) or for SoundExchange to go after them so that they get it into court for a challenge. Seriously, why should RIAA make $$$ off of someone elses product? This part is absurd and should be challenged.
I have been boycotting all RIAA product for about 6 months now and I can tell you, I don't miss it. Indy label misc and film actually has to be good because it doesn't have a massive corporate beauracracy tweaking every aspect of how to sell crap to sheep. (I'm thinking Clearchannel here). Defund these corporate bullies. That is one thing they cannot fight no matter how many gov't stooges they have on the payroll!
Well said,
That's why I'm for Ron Paul.
That being said, they did this for a specific reason. Most likely, it has nothing to do with political bullying at this point but if it remains unchalenged....watch out! We are gonna have alot of repealing to do in the next adminitration when it comes to new executive branch powers. I wonder if the Dems are up to the task. Somehow I doubt it.
Agreed. I think we should form a gamers union or something and send a message to the developers that if they continue to develope for Windows(insert crappy OS version here)only, we are going to abandon them.
You wouldn't want to swim in lake Michigan anyway. Milwaukee has a sewage overflow problem. Every time there is a large and sustained amount of rainfall millions of gallons of sewage are released in occasional "dumps". You can smell it for miles up the coast and a few miles inland.
I agree. I give my money to the indie labels. Indie music is better anyway. I boycott the RIAA and all of their mainstream garbage. One day they will not be able to pay all of their lawyer thugs. I do my part to bring that day closer by always checking here before I buy an album.

Hey c'mon, hasn't Fox News taught us that there are at least a few 'fair and balanced' news outlets who we can trust?
Yeah, 42 is the answer to life the universe and everything....nice.

Yeah, I guess it would be a stretch to apply this technology to an ankle band!
I think the bigger issue is how much power would one of these things consume?

You have died. Game over player 1.
Simpsons did it!

Designed for a 90 day mission, and here we are at over 13 times that number of days
They're like the Maccabees of Mars!

CC'mon ppl! Clones, not robots! Clones are superior!
IMHO Works is garbage. Here's a list of progams I'd use as a text editor before I'd consider using Works again.
Wordpad
Notepad
Paintbrush
Pencil and paper.
A sandy beach, a stick and a camera!
Seriously, Works is a puchline!
