  1. Re:The best solution on The Stigma of a Tech Support Background · · Score: 1

You don't have to outright lie to change the perspective of your experience just jazz it up. For example, I was a clerk in a store/shop/fast food...etc.. On my resume I'll put "Handled business critical transactions to facilitate companywide growth" So for Technical support I might put "managed customer iquiries to enable a fluid business relationship and enhance overall customer satisfaction" And instead of "technical support" I might call it "Customer service represenative" and play up the Customer service side. Any employer likes to see a little customer service skill on a resume even in a technical feild. One last thing... Most Job interviews don't work out in my experience. It's about volume. If you want a job, increase your search range and number of interviews. Go in assuming failure and just relax. Have a shot or two of whiskey first. Couldn't hurt. Best of luck.

Now kids will be logging on behind their backs and cut them out of the loop completely.

It could be much more fair under a Paul system if much of this garbage legislation is overturned or if judges can set precident against it. Dr. Paul would only be able to fix the federal level abuses. But at least it you could pack up and move to the best states when yours fails the test. Or elect Libertarians to state and local office. Bottom line, any way you slice it, Free market econimics is the only path to true prosperity. We just have to be vigilant against influence!

Had that guy opened his own independent shop, more power to him. And frankly as a business strategy, it might get alot of business from parental support of his concept. He should apply for a startup loan and open up shop but, c'mon, I think we all saw the writing on the wall here.....it said "GameStop" in big red corporate letters. Nice try.

An interesting point. I think we can agree that everyone is safest when we can all kill each other equally. This applies to the armed robber in the neighborhood of the guy with the shotgun by his bed as well as two countries who have nukes. Peace through assured mutual destruction. Now THAT'S what the founding fathers had in mind!....kind of. Of course this idea presupposes an interest in self preservation. That could prove unfortunate...especially in the case of the nuke owned by the private citizen.

Okay, so now what we need is a station like Indie Airplay (all indie music) to get hurt by this (to establish standing) or for SoundExchange to go after them so that they get it into court for a challenge. Seriously, why should RIAA make $$$ off of someone elses product? This part is absurd and should be challenged.
