There's a thing called a rotating schedule. 8 hours on a set number of days. Hospitals and factories use this so that when a service needed is that important e.g hospitals, or that cannot actually shut down e.g nuclear reactors, power plants, hospitals, T.V, they can have 3 sets of 8 hours or 2 sets of 12 for people to go to work so that service can continue. The problem is solved, and you can hire more people if you really need to. The reason for 8 hours is so that the day is divisible into 3 clean divisions or 2 for 12 hours. This problem that you think you're trying to create is already solved, and is just logistical.
Also rotating shift workplaces give vacation time around 1 week per month, by design. So you can spend that whole week doing things in advance like buying stuff for a month. Pick a time most convenient during that week.
You mean like you are when you pay for hosting? Or your ISP even if you didn't pay your hosting but are doing it yourself? A third party is required to even access the internet, let alone host something on there.
You misunderstand. Companies would most likely refuse to do business with the EU and that would be the end of the EU economy and even the EU, because you can't sue for refusing to do business by location.
How about just cutting the icebergs and just shipping it by chunks? I wouldn't know how feasible this is at all however versus just towing the icebergs themselves.
You can actually compile what you don't want out of the kernel you know... ah nevermind, most of the kernel is just drivers anyway, and there's even USB support for the human body so it is really a frakenkernel.
All changes are upstreamed to the Wine project as they said in their FAQ, located here: https://store.steampowered.com... internally it's their packaged version with changes for Steam specific support but otherwise just Wine. Open source, and sources here: https://github.com/ValveSoftwa...
Yes but this is rarely updated, and only for the really awful addons that coinmine or scrape user data in the background without permission or are virus-like.
Li-ion cannot absorb overcharge. When fully charged, the charge current must be cut off. A continuous trickle charge would cause plating of metallic lithium and compromise safety. To minimize stress, keep the lithium-ion battery at the peak cut-off as short as possible.
And no I hate Apple as much as the next guy but battery safety, especially when technology that's known to swell/explode/flame when mishandled is more important than a grudge. Please keep blame where it needs to reside.
This is technically your fault but the knowledge of how to keep a battery stored really matters and isn't very common knowledge. Any device with a lithium-ion battery of any kind should not be left on the charger for extended periods, like days or more. If you plan on not using the device, unplug and turn it off. The protection chip on the battery will prevent overcharging but it's a precarious situation that might cause overheating, swelling and explosions potentially the longer it's left charging. What is this? It's in stock too. Also the power cable is USB, so you can buy this if you are even not in EU unless you don't have a powered USB plug somewhere in your house.
Get a phone that updates with LineageOS. It solves all the problems outlined in all the threads here: only latest base android, you can install just google play and that's it if you really want and everything else can be considered optional (select pico: https://github.com/opengapps/o...) and you still have a phone that works fast and lean. The issue is drivers and support sadly, the list is very limited.
Do you want some proof? I'll just copy a previous post I made and you can verify it yourself.
2015-2017 are the hottest years on record on Earth. Citation: https://public.wmo.int/en/medi... and multiple countries and weather stations confirmed this
2018 is looking to be #4, but we can't actually say that without actually going through the whole year obviously; but last April was the third warmest on record: https://climate.nasa.gov/news/...
The higher temperatures are affecting all crops, but their effects are most pronounced under Middle East and African Desert countries currently, but their effects should be closely examined to find ways to stop them in general. Citation: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/p...
The only entrapment is not knowing. https://haveibeenpwned.com/Pwn... You could just manually browse this list if you are really that paranoid though.
Systemd is easily avoidable. http://without-systemd.org/wik...
I could pull a huge number of examples but you can just scroll through https://twitter.com/internetof... and see why this is a bad idea.

At least Android has the option. The app name isn't Lynx but yes it's Lynx with some menus.

It's not the first nor the last. You can see the list here for Firefox: https://blocked.cdn.mozilla.ne...
MegaSync, Google Drive, (I don't actually know anything about these next 2) Owncloud, Nextcloud.
Megasync is free and has 50GB of space as well. If Dropbox support was dropped for me this is what I'd be using.
Nah I just don't like projecting like you are.
It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

You are correct, by default they do.

I'm guessing Nvidia card. I found that it causes the most issues, mostly because the drivers aren't great in any capacity or package.

Also on Arch Linux: not required for me, but I have it installed, but it's not a dependency for Firefox or Waterfox: https://i.imgur.com/2kZb1MI.pn...

This seems to be the best answer sadly: maybe, but apulse would work most likely
