For one thing, most people I know who style themselves anarchists would prefer small, more or less self-sustaining communities and networks of lose association.
Crappy consumer devices running an embedded OS easy to hack? You don't say!
These things are a gold mine. They contain all the certificates and authority to act as a "tower" and are as hackable and available as any consumer device
No phone or smartphone is designed around the idea that the cell network can be "hostile" so they trust these things implicitly. Time to build a backpack rouge cell and go wandering around where "interesting" people hang out.
I'm sure the "interesting" people will have a healthy glow when you're through with them.
I know this is meant to be comical, but most BIOS/UEFI implementations have a setting to allow you to power on by keyboard. I never shut my PC off, but it's a nice option.
The 360 also had Xbox Live, which wipes the floor with PSN. The 360 is an okay console, but Live is a terrific service.
It's terrific until your account gets mysteriously compromised, your friends list gets wiped, and it takes MS three months to reimburse the $135 charge from the account that they promised would only take 30 days. For all of the hassle, they only gave me 2 1-month LIVE subscription codes.
I'm still a little sad that I probably won't run into most of the people who were on my list after they changed profile names so many times.
I love my Starving Student Headphone Amplifier to death. It's depressing because a tube is going out and I haven't found a replacement yet, but it's still kicking and sounds quite good.
Every VAC ban is subject to dispute and anyone who takes the time to dispute it usually wins a reprieve. If you're referring to the poor bastards who tried to cheat on blackops and suddenly realized they were blocked from every game that uses that engine... they deserve it. I have yet to see anyone with a repeatable, verifiable unwarranted VAC ban.
Unfortunately, you are quite wrong. From their support site here:
* Steam Support cannot remove the ban on your account * The details of the ban will not be provided.
Steam Support will not disclose the cheats that were detected running on your system or the date and time the infraction took place. Any requests for this information will be ignored.
VAC may not ban you immediately - the cheating violation may have occurred days or even weeks before the ban is apparent on your account.
It would be nice if Steam was as friendly as you say, but that doesn't appear to be the case according to their own site. It would be most unfortunate if anybody was lulled into false sense of security by your post and effectively lost multiplayer ability in a costly game.
I believe Google Voice can record calls, and my old Nokia 4400 (I think, was a little slider) had an option to record like 6 minutes of a call. It made a very annoying beep on both sides when you activated that feature, though.
Girls can be nerds, too. This is pretty awesome.
Also BIC Cristal For Her!
This is so disgusting and depressing. Why would you do that :'(
Remote desktop actually does support multiple monitors as long as they're the same resolution and has since XP.
Are you sure?
Sure, restarting turbines with car batteries is neat and all, but it was 5 years ago. Why is this relevant?
Eh, it's working now with /106827. Must have been slashdotted. Sorry!
The link is broken for me, should be http://threatpost.com/researchers-go-inside-hackingteam-mobile-malware-command-infrastructure.

Why would you network with losers?

Baron Nashor is the most powerful neutral monster on Summoner's Rift!

Perhaps because transgender is an adjective, not a noun? Transgendered persons is much less offensive.
Wireless bridge, duh?
Eh, I'd rather have friends intelligent enough to read my throw, "cheat," and pick up some pizzas than someone who can't stimulate my mind :)

Bien!
The Pogo Sketch stylus would likely work with any tablet... http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/cellphone/b8dd/?srp=2
Ctrl + escape, anyone?

It *is* in the official scrabble word list now, as ridiculous as it sounds.

Answered earlier than this below. C'est la vie. His may be a little more applicable than mine as well, the "-r" is restart.
shutdown -r -t 0 -f, anyone? I'm a little impatient as well.
