    Running out of it in an environment where it costs what it's worth, which is about a penny a hit, won't cause anything but reaching into a pocket and taking another hit.

    You obviously know nothing about addiction and quitting. The main component of addiction is the challenge of acquisition. Take that away and the whole business makes less sense. Gainsay and I'll show ye the alcohol wet houses in the US!

    I don't know why we ever repealed prohibition!

    Because alcohol only does that to alcoholics. The vast majority of users are not harmed by moderate consumption.

    Especially the mature and responsible high school and college students.

    Actually, contrary to what everyone says, the probability of the Earth getting hit by an asteroid (and/or vice-versa) is 1. The bet is: how soon against how much we can salvage.

    I propose that puny humans start with a repository of post-apocalyptic know-how (i.e. last contingency) and build from there backwards. OR BE DESTROYED! Good night.

    Tells you right there how much the UK cares about IPV6

    Their business is golden as long as resources are very limited and controlled by them. When they adopt IPv6 it's like forefeit investment. v4 becomes obsolete and address pools turn into... So it's like "let's spend some money making our wealth into nothing."

    No, but they do say 19 Saudis with box-cutters framed themselves into hijacking airliners and flew them into airplane-collision-proof buildings. One of them survived.     I don't want this in the hands of the same people who made Vioxx, Thalidomide or Lipitor.

    Hey, one of these, Thalidomide to be exact, is a bad example. Insufficient clinical trials leading to careless administration in pregnant women (who very often didn't even know they were pregnant) caused the deplorable results. That aside, the drug is very safe and effective.
