Well played;) Unfortunately, you're one of the few who know about other candidates - most are completely ignored by mainstream media, which only fuels the 'only two options' myth.
That fact is what makes them one of the very few things people have to pay a deposit on (at least in many parts of the U.S. and I presume much of the rest of the world)
Mainland Europe (well, EU member states anyway) have a bottle deposit scheme. The UK, on the other hand, doesn't. If we only adopt one more EU regulation/practice, it should be this.
On modern cars, all the systems are already connected to each other via CAN (or similar), so they're already halfway there. Then you can attach a Bluetooth OBDII device, and do the last step yourself;)
Watch the Mythbusters clips, mobile phone use IS more dangerous than drink driving
As much as I like Mythbusters, I wouldn't say they've proven phone use is more dangerous, purely because their sample size was two people. It's a good indicator sure, but it's not definitive. Still, it's enough to make sensible people think 'Nah, I'll leave the phone in my pocket', but then sensible people would have done so anyway.
Obviously there's no convincing you - you only look for the negative. That, and you think being typecast means your personality must match. That must mean Alan Rickman is relaxing in his villain's lair, plotting how to take over the world.
I'm guessing you didn't see Torchwood 'Children of Earth' - Capaldi's character in that is about as far from arsehole as you can get. There's also the Who episode 'The Fires of Pompeii', where again his character's far from an arsehole.
I would be happy to see nuclear power regulations repealed, so long as those that build and run nuclear power plants are actually accountable for any incidents that occur as a result of preventable actions on their part.

Then half-fill the bottle. Problem solved.

That must be so comforting to the people of Africa who live on $10 a year.
Can you name any of the other candidates without using Google or Wikipedia?
Also, how did Top Gear become a global(except in France) phenomenon?
BBC Worldwide.

No argument from me ;) Certainly whenever I see someone with a phone clamped to their ear while driving, I keep my distance where possible.
Since they now have more than 50p for special effects, yes.
Though he also had Rose Tyler at the same time.
IIRC, the 6th Doctor went for a while with only a male sidekick.

But somehow fucks like you think it should be OK to throw the phone talker in jail while the others all get a free pass.
*nom*
Or get charged with 'driving without due care and attention'.
Only if it's pure lead, which is rare. If it's in a mineral, then it just sits there being a mineral.
Milk.
You don't win an entire Internet, but you do win at least a regional subnet ;)

Being set up to fail by your boss = total shithead. Glad you cleared that up for me /sarcasm

So when I applied the 4.3 update to my Nexus 7 last week, I was imagining things?
Oh, they've been around far, far, far longer than that. Late 80's in fact (Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and Nissan 240SX were among the first).
I dunno, Gordon Freeman was able to use a few snarks as homing grenades that one time...
42
acronyms should be capitalized
Unless they can be pronounced as a word, in which case they can be lower-case, like laser and radar :P

And the best way to do that? Regulations.
What's the point then? I'm not going to buy Visual Studio just to compile a fork bomb!
You don't have to - the Express editions are free. Plus there's always gcc et al.
