    I think Basic is a nice language because it's probably the closest to english out there, and thus the one likely to be picked up the fastest.

    It has a comforting lack of rampant symbol usage (the semicolons, commas, and braces that can look like greek).

    I think in the long run, linux saves you money.

    In a world where anything goes, effort is a precious commodity which needs to be spent efficiently.

    Having a purist able to convince the pragmatic masses that his way is the right way can be a big help.

    That's known as "loser pays" and will have such a chilling effect on frivolous litigation that the legal lobbies will not let it happen without a huge fight.

    Also ICANN's problem.

    I think that ICANN's PR department is either underfunded or lazy.

    Anyone who knows about the internet should have at least a bit of understanding about how it's governed. Everyone knows the FBI does crime, the SEC does securities, and the EPA does pollution. ICANN should be similiarly recognized as the agency that manages internet related stuffs.

    2. Ban further registrations
    3. Public notice of revocation
    4. 120 day grace period to effect transfers
    5. Yank the registrar

    All ICANN needs to do is give due notice to their customers and give them time to transfer.

    Stop your god-damned fudding. The AGPL does not forbid you from modifying your software. In fact, it explicity allows it. It just means you have to share your modifications.
