    Chances are this IT boss is being protected somehow.

    I know of one guy who got a new car every time he got a complaint of sexual harassment. He basically bullied the company into coughing up a car by threatening a lawsuit for slander/libel if they didn't make it go away. He gets a new car and the complainer gets fired.

    As a consultant you should be thankful you're not in the chain of command.

    Please, use your position of safety to be candid and ruthless in your evaluation. Document whatever you can and leave it in the hands of whoever hired you. This director needs sacked.

    I'd go further and have dui itself be a felony. This means:

    1) prison for 5 years
    2) license REVOKED for at least a year after that
    3) forfeiture of the car

    They already allow estate taxes to be collected by multiple states that each claim you domicile there.

    But the fact that the murder weapon was manufactured by a corporation may prevent a prosecution.

    I do not trust a rent seeking organization of any sort to not "make mistakes" on calling people pirates.

    They're trying to be judge, jury, executioner, AND witness.

    These people sue grandmas and dead people to get settlements. I wouldn't trust them not to frame someone that happens to have a fat bank account.

    And even if they were simply incompetent, I still wouldn't trust them to actually care about making mistakes.

    Look into solutions that make use of nested virtualization.

    If you want to create an IT playground that itself involves virtualization, being able to have nested virtualization will let you use VMs to confine the playground without taking away the VM toys.

    Actually, if property subject to forfeiture is encumbered by a security interest, it's standard procedure to satisfy the security interest out of the proceeds of selling the forfeited asset.
