    Ad block software will not cost publishers publishers $21.8 billion in 2015. Those numbers are invalid because (1) many ad block users would avoid some sites they normally visit if they had to suffer through ads, (2) the incremental traffic from ad block users will not likely generate a proportional amount of sales for advertisers, and (3) advertisers will not like pay a proportionally higher amount if ad block software was not used.

    Who knew that trade negotiators could pass legislation without the knowledge, let alone approval, of Congress? Do countries other than the U.S. also kowtow to the music and film industries? Google or Microsoft could buy the entire music and recording industry, and never bat an eye. How does such a small industry carry the weight to mandate worldwide legislation?

    If a Greek citizen can buy a bitcoin, the same person can buy Euros, Dollars, or stock index funds, all of which are more stable. The author of this must be either financially ignorant or hyping bitcoins.

    It was not a reverse. It was a postponement. From the SourceForge blog: "SourceForge pledges to present third-party offers only with the projects that explicitly opted-in to that program." So sourceforge will give money to developers if they agree to allow malware in install files. "We are forming a Community Panel to review our mirroring practices and guide the way mirrors are established and the presentation of mirrored content on the site." So sourceforge will resurrect their distribution of non-sourceforge software (like Firefox), potentially with malware included at no extra charge. It looks like they're just waiting for the uproar to die down before they continue with these practices.

    Notice how all the comments on this thread that might offend Dice management have been downvoted as "Troll"? Don't worry, though. It's just a coincidence. A company with the strong moral fiber of Dice would never interfere in a public forum.

    They don't affect the moon significantly. While they are large enough, the difference in density between the water above and below the wave is so small, and the speed is so slow, the gravitational or frictional effect is too small to matter. However, the moon does affect the waves. They're caused by tidal forces.
