Well, soldiers wouldn't fire on innocent civilians, but I reason they have no problem with "terrorists". People carying guns don't look innocent and if they pick up their guns to fight, expect a big intel spin on it. They will do it, I have no doubt about that.
Bush was right: The consitution is just a damn piece of paper. Don't count on it to protect you. Don't count on the ammo box too, guns are useless against an army with tanks, snipers and airplanes. Keep voting Dems, Reps or the lot like it and you will sink deeper and deeper in shit untill you are stuck and can't get out. Because then you are fucked. And it won't be pretty.
Yes, but tech-aware users are very rare and it is a wise idea to help remember ff2 users that their version is about to lose support and it is wise to upgrade. As long as people aren't forced, there is no real problem.
Using software that isn't supported is inherently dangerous. And the fact is, Firefox 3 is gratis so getting the new version is no upgrading treadmill. As long as they are not too annoying(5 minute Windows reboot nag screen) like a screen every 2 weeks, I don't see a problem with this.
So I went to the site of Verisign and you know who signed the cert? That's right, Verisign itself. And Firefox simply accepts this(no self-signed warning)! Outrageous, that's all I can say!
This site make the song "99 bottles of beer" into a program that displays the lyrics of 99 bottles of beer. Now look at the Java implementation, it's a bloody mess! Waaaay to complex in order to maintain flexibility. Now look at the a comment where another person has done the same thing but then in a simple manner.
Yes, you can make any language look butt ugly if you try.
Honestly, it just crept me out. I didn't even really notice the cheeks or eyelids but the mouth just looks pasted. I can't help seeying what I see. The mouth was just creepy. Begone!
Childish flag-waving. Honestly, if we want to progress from the ancient ipv4 standard we need to get someone powerful to back it i.e. the government. How in the hell can this stifle protocol innovation for decades? We move to a better standard without the shitty ipv4 problems like NAT and a lack of IP-addresses.
"Your plan fails because it: [X] Demands immediate and total cooperation from everyone at once."
It is called government intervention. Seriously, the government can do some good work in this field like mandating ipv6-compatibility for ISPs. That will solve approx. 70% of the problems. The other 30% is the users and technology(routers, modems, Windows)
No, but you won't be able to make a site with a new ip-address, which is highly annoying. New people are not able to "join the internet" when the ISP runs out of IP-addresses. It's basically nasty.
That's why I hope they will be prepared when the time comes.
That's ok, nobody reads the article anyway. People on Slashdot think they are right and no article, read or unread, can change this.

I don't get this. I have ff3 and I can still export my bookmarks to bookmarks.html. Parent is simply incorrect.

After that comes "holy shit". I'd love to see that one personally.
That's ok. With the millions that he will make, he could easily afford some top notch golfing lessons.

I'm not your friend, buddy.

Well, I'd vote for wokking the RIAA.
I'd prefer them with noodles and a sweet-sour sauce too. Please leave the tauge, I don't like tauge.
