The rest of the articles on that New Scientist webpage look like the National Enquirer of science. Just how credible are this guys? The article seems a bit to sensationalistic to be all true.
That's the number of planks it takes to build your backyard deck, which is ALWAYS (that's why it's a constant) more than what you already bought, so you need to make ONE MORE TRIP to the home improvement store.
I hear ya. I've given up on making any sense from the moderation system. Everytime I make a "funny" post, it gets moded down as either offtopic or troll. If I make an offtopic comment, it gets funny ratings. Mods on crack, or maybe a clueless system.
Thanks for your advise. I am not nearsighted, and have consulted first with both my medical doctor and my chiropractor. I used to suffer from chronic back pain. It has not gone away completly, but it has gone down to the point where I am not aware of it.
That IS correct. However, it treats the CAUSE of the pain. It is not a painkiller, but it will eventually make the pain either go away or go down a lot.
Painkillers only MASK the pain, so you can injure yourself even more over time.
I use an inversion table called HANGUPS. You just hang from your ankles upside down. It both streches and straightens your spinal column.
I have been using it for about a year and it is great. Also getting a Glucosamine supplement. Completly natural and releives both lower back and wrist pains.
Heh, if you happen to have a steel plate in your head, better make sure you don't walk over that underground superconducting cable, else your head could get glued to the ground.
That will be funny. Also, imagine all the lose coins that this thingy will collect...
News? I usually watch PBS, and we even get the BBC news for half hour, that added to the 1 hr PBS news, takes away most of the stupid local news time in my house.

The problem with this is they left drawings with ramps for construction but I am not aware of any with construction kites.
