  1. And eventually they're going to be flooded out of the market by Chinese manufacturers. There's already plenty of Chinese drones that are cheaper and work just as good as these expensive western made ones.

  2. What's so exciting about this? on Google's Chromebit Micro-Computer Launches (techcrunch.com) · · Score: 1

We've had all these micro computers for over 2 years already running Chrome, linux and now Windows. Just go to Amazon, you have plenty to choose from (My favorite was the MK808). You can run Netflix, hulu, amazon prime, whatever on it just the same. What changed? What's so special? Seems Google is way late to the party on this when there are WAY better offers and devices just on Amazon alone.

I've been using the PI for industrial touch screens and information screens. They have not failed me yet and they work great in the harshest environments (I even have them working outdoors in the sun and dust for 2 years now). How you mount or wire them depends on what enclosure or mounting option you decide to get/build.

I hope so. NVIDIA SLI in linux is abysmal and currently the new Nvidia drivers break a lot of things for a lot of people. Although the Nvidia devs do respond to peoples comments and do promise to fix the issues, the time it takes them to do anything is pretty long. Meanwhile, AMD stuff is even worse.

Me neither. Stopped using flash completely after all the exploits coming out on a weekly basis. Adobe showed how one can destroy a product with their total incompetence, so much for flash being the future. Hope that $3.4 billion was worth it. It's amazing how fast Adobe Flash is disappearing from the web. I wonder what's going to happen to all those flash based games or the companies that have built on top of flash to build their products?

But oh well, I don't even use Adobe's PDF viewers anymore. The alternatives offer more options and less exploits than their own reader. I can't wait till they destroy their main flagship products as it seems they excel at destroying everything they've built and acquired than actually doing something useful.
