    As in, the fact that they aren't revealing them means that they aren't anything to write home about. Refresh rates are going to keep this technology confined to ebook readers and advertising posters. I want stuff like this.

    That technology had already been tested as part of Microsoft office, but fell through when, after a late night of coding, the program was misconfigured to display Clippy whenever the user was feeling annoyed.

    The paper wasn't peer reviewed, so your mileage may vary.

    i.e. the universe will screw itself over only from the point of view of some people, but not others?

    That should be interesting. I don't know why that would happen just because a paper didn't get peer-reviewed, though. And we'll never known what would happen to the universe if the paper did get peer-reviewed before release..
