Many do. Almost no race bikes or race cars have a speedometer.
Almost none of the very serious purpose-built ones (although it's becoming less uncommon on more recently-built vehicles). Most of the vehicles actually going around a track, which are production-based, do.
And all tracks will black flag you for running a timer to check y our lap times.
For open track/HPDE that's true, but that's not really racing is it.
It's worse, sex offenders who people should actually be wary of can claim they're only on the list because of these minor offenses. I once read a post on Slashdot about a new neighbor who came over to say that he was a sex offender but that it was just because he got caught urinating in public. Dude looked it up and the new neighbor had actually molested a child 8-(
To make it not-work on the road, you need a database of the coordinates of all the tracks in the world. If this were a few years ago I'd sure as hell expect that from a non-free app.
Hahaha it goes back waaaay further than that. There were apps like this for PalmOS devices. And of course even before that, there were the specialized data logging computers that did the same thing.
But most jobs that ask for a degree already don't actually require it in practice. It's a way for HR to measure your dedication, and personally I suspect, level of financial independence (saddled with student debt = reliable employee).
Let me help you, some of us have no problem killing anything that is not and never was sentient. It's a very short and slippery slope from opposing abortion to opposing contraception.
I hope me.ga gets launched, under whatever URL. It uses full, proper, user-controlled end-to-end encryption, it will be very hard to hold the host responsible for content on this one.
But then the studios had direct takedown power on Megaupload and that wasn't enough for them...
Haha fuck those amoral death dealers. Everyone in the defense industry, when questioned about how they feel about working there, says "I sleep just fine on massive piles of money" or something of similar insensitivity and dismissiveness. So fuck 'em.
My country actually stood to gain short-term from a Romney presidency, because it would be easier to turk yer jerbs. Still I see this as the less-bad outcome, long term.
Went to polling station, black panthers were blockading the entrance, then the UN blue hats showed up and scared them off, that was nice but then they were watching us right near the booths...kinda makes you feel uncomfortable. On the way out I peeked through a door where I saw a guy with a laptop plugged into a disassembled voting machine, he was hammering away at a CLI and cackling maniacally.

You think 4chan is pedo central? LOLOLOL never been on a darknet I see...
Just slap a Ducati or Aprilia sticker on your Jap bike. Win/win! :D

Then why not get rid of speedometers, section timing, and maybe tachs and fuel gauges too?
It's not just me:

If this reuse of "magic underpants" was so well-known that it left the term tainted forever I'd think it wouldn't be so obscure...
What have science majors ever done for the African-American community?
Science does things differently for people of different races? O_o

1024 times to be precise ;)
I guess we'll find out soon enough:

Thanks, nearly went through this whole thread without receiving any delicious schadenfreude from sweet conservative butthurt.

Really? I'd heard of it well before the 2008 election...
I'd think it was equally funny if a CEO wore a suit promoting Romney.

*trollface*
I gotta say, it seems more than a little self-serving for an RIAA-signed artist to promote the Democratic candidate...
Same here and I'm sure we're not in the same country.
Clever, mod parent up.
That's multiple lifetimes worth of money. SELL. Don't live to work, work to live.
I'm sure David Braben wouldn't want any pesky used copies floating around:
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-03-19-braben-used-sales-are-killing-single-player-games
Given those remarks I don't think he's the kind of person who would think to kill off the used market with zero DRM and low prices...
That's not the right material anyways. If you want to see what silicon boobs would be like, watch Sacha Baron Cohen's "The Dictator."
