Mind you, this is probably illegal. But I think the script could easily be hacked to call the congressperson's phone lines and play a recorded message... ideally their personal cell phone lines or the phone line belonging to their spouse. At dinnertime, of course.
Should be easy to do with Asterisk. Getting a personal phone number, on the other hand...
And the source of the petroleum is entirely beside the point. It doesn't matter if it's biogenic, abiogenic or put there by Jesus to confuse us, if we bring it out of the ground and burn it, we're adding to the total CO2 in the atmosphere from an outside source - at the same time that we're burning rainforests clear, no less.
1) if you truly believe petroleum has only biogenic origin, then by releasing CO2 back into the atmosphere, we're simply restoring the natural state of the earth - that CO2 came from those nasty plants and animals that fixed it in solid form, robbing the atmosphere of its rightful share of the gas:)
The earth's earliest lifeforms were very different. Oxygen was toxic to them. Likewise you would choke and die in their world.
2) If you think a 7-billion strong industrialized civilization is significant, go google for how much CO2 is respirated by insects on this planet compared to CO2 generated by humanity.
Slashdot would have to be hacked first - assuming anon post IPs are recorded.
But if it makes you feel any better he's only doing it to troll you and probably isn't really racist IRL. If you want to see real racism, there are white supremacist message boards out there...the real racists aren't anywhere near as creative. Everything they say is like a slow-witted failed comeback.
Are you sure you don't use any words that could be interpreted as deceptive when read by an audience ignorant of your specialized field and eager to make it out to be a farce? You don't use hide, trick, cover, conceal, nothing like that?
But to think that our influence can overwhelm a system that has been changing for billions of years before humanity has existed?
Completely insane, I know. The mere thought that a 7-billion-strong industrialized civilization could pull large amounts of fossil fuels out of the ground and burn them is laughable!
Each of those planes probably is a multi-thousand dollar investment.
Probably? Easily. If you're really, really cheap and crafty you can build an RC jet (as in gas turbine, not EDFs which are cheaper) for around $500. Anything that looks good and/or is reasonably large will cost well into the 4-digit range.
Dunno, but right now there are just a couple of main drone control centers, located in the US (one in Nevada and one in Virginia IIRC). They also have portable control stations that can be moved around in containers, however.
The drone control signals can be (and usually are) relayed through satellites if they're worried about being traced.
Oh please, you're being obtuse. The only way you wouldn't be able to see how the Republicans would destroy the US is if you don't see anything wrong with living in a typical cyberpunk dystopia. That's what happens when you deregulate everything and de-fund everything but defense.
That said, there's no incentive for me to upgrade from DD-WRT to OpenWRT. DD-WRT works flawlessly and has all the features I want so far, but if you want to do really advanced stufff OpenWRT looks like a better option.
I'm assuming that if a book isn't put in the library in the first place it won't make it onto the challenged list. Otherwise I'd have to assume the library shelves are well-stocked with copies of Mein Kampf and The Turner Diaries, and that while many leftist books were banned no liberal parents had a problem with their children being exposed to Starship Troopers or the works of Ayn Rand.

Actually yes it is that old:

Come on, you can't fault Lucas for finally ending the great geek debate over whether Vader threw Sidious down the shaft by accident!

ROFLMAO you can't make this shit up! XD

Well help me out. Was this some unrelated group that went by the same name, or are you using some alternative meaning of "grassroots?"
Are you sure you don't use any words that could be interpreted as deceptive when read by an audience ignorant of your specialized field and eager to make it out to be a farce? You don't use hide, trick, cover, conceal, nothing like that?
True, but hard drives require constant monitoring and maintenance. You can't stuff one in a box and expect it to work decades later.
Hey why not both? I'm sure he'll pound on the side of his pure-oxygen shit-covered utopia-tent with joy!
No, it's not likely that climate changes are primarily controlled by human activity, as opposed to myriad non-human factors.
Yeah when are those aliens gonna put some catalytic converters on their UFOs. Bunch shiny-jumpsuited ricers...
It was never really grassroots.
Funny enough, the "climate change" label was brought about by the Bush administration for political reasons. It was a euphemism requested by the Republicans.
Also your hate for Al Gore is understandable, in the long run he'll be seen as doing far more harm than good. I've written about the damage he's done before.

I didn't want to promote their product after catching them astroturfing, but an M-disc is a perfect solution for this.
So are you agreeing or disagreeing with xevioso?

Well I'll keep this in mind next time there's some UFO mystery.
"It could be a very meticulously crafted, expensive, high-effort hoax. There really are human beings who ARE that dickish doing it just for the lulz."

Also this looks like a pretty decent environmental disaster to me.
Looks like it's not supported yet:

Put it on a UPS while flashing so it won't get bricked. Unless you upload the wrong firmware there's nothing else to worry about.
I can't think of anything you could do "without consent" but check these out:

I was just looking up the instructions for a G300NH and it looks easy:

Mod parent up. It sounds like apologism or a "the other guys are worse" cop out, but it's the sad, sad truth.
