  1. Re:I use both on Which Is Better, Adblock Or Adblock Plus? · · Score: 1

When I first researched it a little while ago, I think that Adblock was the original version of the addon, made for Chrome. Then Adblock Plus was made by a separate group, as a port to Firefox. Since I use Firefox as my main browser, that is what I am used to seeing.

I could be wrong, and don't care to google it right now. But I consider it that I use the one for each browser that was the original one for that browser. If nothing else, it gives both programs encouragement.

  2. I use both on Which Is Better, Adblock Or Adblock Plus? · · Score: 2

If my customer has Firefox installed, I use Adblock Plus with it. That is also what I have on my own systems.

If they have Chrome instead, I use Adblock. I don't use Chrome, because I don't like its style, but several customers prefer it.

I didn't say we baled hay, I said we fed hay to our animals. We also helped our neighbors and friends put hay up in their haymow, and they all had binders twine as well. I don't remember any bales using wire. Even the large round ones our neighbor had were tied with binders twine, as far as I can recall.

The funny thing from my view is we never called it "baling wire", or "baling (anything else)". When we opened a bale of hay, we cut the binders twine that held it together.

Again, does it? Have you tried to break someone's leg, versus breaking their blade? Of course, one definite advantage is that if it does break, you just put on a new one, rather than spending months in rehabilitation.

Actually, I wonder about that. If he is putting enough force on it to break it (maybe it gets really worn out from practice), and it breaks while all his weight is on it trying to lift him over the bar, it seems that he is going to hit the pavement hard on the remainder of his amputated limb.

The blade may be easily replaced with an identical one, but I don't know how well his already-damaged body will do.

A lot of science fiction stories have that as a main premise -- that mankind expanded out to other systems, and some of those colonies lost contact for so long the people forgot where they originated, or only remember small parts of their own ancestors' story.

Marion Zimmer Bradley's Darkover series, Ursula K LeGuin's Left Hand of Darkness novel, and Christopher Stasheef's Warlock series are all based on it. So is Anne McAffrey's Pern series.
