The problem with the Internet of Things is that nobody seems to issue security updates for the plethora of devices we have plugged into our networks and when they do it's almost impossible to actually apply them.
Yes but when the Virtual Memory is on Optane it's going to have a shitload less impact. Also your idea could still have legs just allocate the static areas of your program to Optane and the dynamic to regular ram.
Not sure I trust ISP's to secure my browsing history against hackers. Ahh well I think my browsing history is going to become very simple lots of entries that all read Opened TOR circuit!
Isn't this more to do with jurisdiction I mean if I'm arrested in another country for committing a crime in that country surely I'm at the mercy of the local equivalent of due process.
Like most games these days it's based on 20 year old game ideas that have been updated to match technology upgrades (Think Tetris for touch screens). As for Angry Birds that was just marketing the basic game engine had been doing the rounds for nearly a decade.
So it's a new browser. So what any new functionality that's cool and people like will simply get absorbed into Chrome, Firefox etc the last thing we need is yet another platform to test on.
Also, by definition, no encryption is unbreakable, you just need a few thousand years to crack it.
Not thousands of years! As we've seen from all the encryption technologies that have been invented to date it generally just takes a couple of decades for the tech to upgrade to a point where it's relatively easy to crack. The question is will this all change when Quantum Computers are on every desktop?
I'd rather have somebody adding shiny code than somebody endlessly copying and pasting bits of code they don't fully understand. Or even worse the "can you just show me how to do that again" programmers who don't actually write a bean of code themselves because they don't know how to do it themselves but always seem to convince the upper management that they are some kind of expert
I've had the same reaction just from doing long division on a whiteboard :)
Personally I'd rather risk infection than be restricted to what Apple says I can do

Sorry is this tech only for delivering to American Tourists because they're the only people in London who use the term sidewalk
What people don't get sued for slander/libel in America? What's the most litigious country in the world coming to?
What makes you think censorship is acceptable in Europe?
Just asking
I for one welcome our new testing nightmare overlords

British pigs are much more decent and better educated than American ones.
Great idea.
The American edition of the app includes a bullet proof vest
Would a Faraday Cage also get you fined?
These are the voyages of the star ship enterprise on a 10 year mission to squeeze every last penny out of a dying franchise
