    I partially agree (We already have this here in the UK) in that I'd like the focus of teaching the kids to code to be different. The last thing I want is my kids dreadding having to do some coding because they did it in school and it was boring. Treat it like art not like maths or science and the kids will love. As for Tony Abbot to call him a prick is like telling a rose bush it only has one thorn.

    1: Take your CMMI processes

    2: Sprinkle with Agile jargon

    3: Call it scrum

    The project strategy seems to consist of when it fails blame it on Agile.

    Yeah like NASA has such a great success rate (Apollo 1, Challenger, Columbia). Bearing in mind the Soyuz and Progress are pretty much based on 1960's designs actually they’ve got a fantastic success record one which NASA should be envious. Not that the Soviets have never lost anyone but let’s face it they haven’t stopped sending people into space since Gagarin whereas NASA has a lot of big Gaps.

    I think the problem is available surface area to aim the laser at. In order to generate enough force to slow a satelite down over a year you'd probably need to focus enough power at it that it would melt in short order anyway. HTH
