I partially agree (We already have this here in the UK) in that I'd like the focus of teaching the kids to code to be different. The last thing I want is my kids dreadding having to do some coding because they did it in school and it was boring. Treat it like art not like maths or science and the kids will love. As for Tony Abbot to call him a prick is like telling a rose bush it only has one thorn.
This has been going on since the days of Sputnik and Uri Gagarin. Even the great Sergei Korrolyev (The master mind behind the space race) used the budget as his own personal slush fund
20 Years of write once and test everywhere! And now thanks to Android there are over 18000 distict Andoid platforms to test on too!! http://thenextweb.com/mobile/2...
Yeah like NASA has such a great success rate (Apollo 1, Challenger, Columbia). Bearing in mind the Soyuz and Progress are pretty much based on 1960's designs actually they’ve got a fantastic success record one which NASA should be envious. Not that the Soviets have never lost anyone but let’s face it they haven’t stopped sending people into space since Gagarin whereas NASA has a lot of big Gaps.
I think the problem is available surface area to aim the laser at. In order to generate enough force to slow a satelite down over a year you'd probably need to focus enough power at it that it would melt in short order anyway.
HTH
So what was thought to be a blue planet is actually slightly reddish? Wouldn’t it be cooler if we could say the New Horizons Probe is travelling so fast it’s encountering the Doppler Effect:)
Over here in the UK children from the age of 7 are being taught coding in school. This will of course suck everrything that's cool about coding out of coding for ever.
What ever you do don't try using "Wife V1.0" it's almost impossible to uninstall without getting all of your assets frozen.
An old friend powered his CCTV camera from the network cable it was streaming down.
Morally reprehensible is in the Eye of the Beholder
Can anyone translate that indecipherable gibberish into English?

The problem isn't PowerPoint the problem is that most of the people using it couldn't do a presentation to save their own lives!
As a bad workman blames his tools its a poor student who blames the black board
Lets stop blaming the tool because some idiots don't know how to use it.

I for one salute out software testing overlords :|
If you ask me its taken a turn for the würst
Yep I'm used to much harder interview questions than that :)
Ahh so the lessons learned at clapam junction will probably have to be learnt again then
And most of the rest of the world slows them down when in urban areas
Arent trains in America ment to slow down when going around corners? Also 100mph going through an urban area is too fast.
god I hope this firm is based in Italy :D
Just as long as they don't do what we do here which is:
1: Take your CMMI processes
2: Sprinkle with Agile jargon
3: Call it scrum
The project strategy seems to consist of when it fails blame it on Agile.

He's very lucky his mistress isn't working for the GRU/ISIS/al-qaeda or he'd be looking at oh wait he'd probably still get off with a slapped wrist
It's not low income housing it's the Used Future :D
I thought they just sent their kids off to boarding school anyway
Moderation gone mad? It is a frickin LAYZZZER after all

Makes me squeamish about customs being able to order cavity searches of children
