    The official ATI drivers suck badly with barley working 32 bit drivers and mostly useless 64 bit support.

    You might want to check out CUDA. It lets you run parallel algorithms on a GPU, and you should be able to get hardware that can run significantly more than ~26 Gflops for less than $800.

    Yes and no. One vote in Wyoming would be worth exactly as much as a vote in Florida in the sense that they both get you one step closer to being elected. But one vote in Wyoming would also be much more expensive because the cost of reaching people in an area that is so sparsely populated is so much higher.

    I don't see an elimination of extra attention paid to some states/areas, but a shift from what are now the swing states to the population centers, where the density makes it much easier to reach people.

    Diesel contains approximately 30% more energy per volume than gasoline does.

    No it doesn't. It contains between 0-10% more energy than gasoline.

    From Wikipedia:
    Gasoline contains 34.6 MJ/L
    Diesel contains 42.3 MJ/L
    That looks like a whole lot more than 10% to me!

    If you RTFS, acceleration and braking are controlled by a human operator. So I'm not really sure whether being in traffic would make a difference to this test.
