Imagine this situation...The year 2015, The bandwidth Cap was applied.
infrastructure across Canada is improved 90% of Canadian have access to VDSL, and there is no more concerns for throttling as the 'tubes' are wide enough for everyone now.
The Problem.
Netflix, and like companies leave Canada for two reasons. 1. the bandwidth Cap 2. Bell and Rogers are ok to sell any movie they like through Cbl/Sat or Rogers Plus Movie rental stores. Netflix is faced with the CRTC AGAIN telling them they must have a minimum amount of Canadian Content.
Not to mention OnLive or other Gaming related companies doesn't enter Canada due to consumer concerns. And who knows about what other technology could come from the internet in the next 5 years...
One thing is for certain... if the Bill were passed... we wound have had a BIGGER problems in 5 years.
... but first they have to start with a reason why we want a mouse like that... Queue in "Game Company Name"
FPS will track your heart rate, so that if you are shot, you need to take cover, and let your heart rate go down to heal... (or something to that effect)
Ones that feel more like a movie. (the latest i played were; uncharted and batman arkham asylum) they are more engaging than movie, and usually have a good story line.
my number two go to are cheap downloads. they are fast fun and engaging... some addictive some are just a one time play thing some are puzzles... they are a great tie over till that next game but sometimes you find a Gem that is worth more than $10 - Monsters (by pixel junk), deathspank, castle crashers, echocrome, fat princess...)
for a third, little big planet....if there was a forth style to catch my eye it would be lego. button mashing fun!
Photoshop has been stuck at 2 processors for Way too long. Software companies have been lagging behind hardware far too long. Until I see See more software taking advantage of cores of more than 1 or 2... I'm not wasting money on them.
I couldn't've said it better my self! I don't remember the last CD i bought from a Major Label. I too go to sites like bandcamp, find new music that is NOT on the radio, and contact the artists directly when ever possible. I ask the artist how they would like me to buy the music.
The RIAA have done more damage to the 'label' industry then any of the free download sites could have ever done.
I guess on a positive note, the RIAA have inadvertently caused the popularity in the grass roots and underground music scene... which is great for true music artist, and music loving fans... not so good for media giants who thrive on the label industry.
huh, i guess the RIAA screwed over two industries.
Someone put up a Flash porfolio about 10 years ago with loads of flash concepts and capabilities
one of those what to record the previous 10-20 vistors cursor movements. The screen had 9 boxes, each were clickable, but did nothing. after trying a few of them you would notice that nothing worked, then you could watch what the other visitors did before you.
In my experience, most of the users hover over a few before clicking on the top left box or middle box, while others seem to wonder or click hap hazardly.
I've always wanted to use this function as an over lay on any web site... to prove to the web site owner, they need to improve the site. "Look what your users are doing"
I simply will not eat it. I have not fear of GM food, we all Love the Strawberry's coming from CA... But if i see Monsanto i will not buy it. They are THE WORST thing to happen to agriculture the world over... Next only to the US HEAVILY subsidizing Corn.
1. true
2. exactly
3. Thought the same thing... or overlapping circles
4. Wanted to ask that, is the left image compressed to the same file size as the one on the right? if so thats awesome.
5. true
I mean really, even Metallica should be saying ' OK RIAA i think that's enough.'
Everyone know the Label industry maxed out it life without having to evolve... that's long long since past... they cought on, they are changing... so what are the RIAA 'protecting' now?
Are these gravity wells persistent? or are they moving around a little/a lot?
I understand it takes time to map this, but before too much research can be done with this new findings, until they know that these areas are going to stay put, i think some studies may need to keep this in mind.
wouldn't then the water be more/less dense in places? Would Scuba divers in Iceland be able to go deeper or stay longer? And visa versa for the Indian Ocean?
So when will we be able to use special characters in our addresses?
seems to me that 26 letters is not only limiting, but also not very divers.
the Minimum was not the only problem, they didn't leave room for growth. Moores Law would be somewhere to start.
We know data usage over the internet will double... eventually and it'll double again. so you think they thought of that?

There, now we have mice with heart rate monitors.

all pirating we to come to a complete stop... for CDs, DVDs, or Blu Rays?
1. Realistically speaking how much is the price inflated to make up for all this theft...
2. How much would we see the price come down? or would we?
where did you get that number from?

They are only good for fixing your hair in the reflection, or looking over your shoulder.
They are ONLY OK in specific lighting conditions which are rare.
Colour Matching on them is unrealistic to.
Actually i would like to have seen some grout or something used you cover up some of the Lego.
It would make some installations look like the whole place was built out of Lego and just covered up.
Curious question tho... what is the structural integrity of Lego? It can't be all that bad.

What make my statement 'blind'?
What makes you think i am anti corporate?
A Corporation [if you classify it as a person] would be defined as sociopath. Would you ask a sociopath what is best for you or for the people?
really? would you?
