Maybe after they dumped them, they called their buddy Fritz, and told him where they had been dumped. Fritz shows up with a van, loads up all those "garbage" computers... Craigslist here he comes. (Or whatever the German equivalent to craigslist is.)
Did you know that 100% of people diagnosed with cancer have had contact with DHMO. The government are covering it up. Watch them mod me down.
Mod me up to keep the truth out there.
I would really like to have access to the camera across the street from my house. I points up the road, and would be handy to be able to watch when I was expecting someone to come over.
I think if they set up cameras with open public access. and maybe even a way to report unusual activity to someone who could review the camera, and decide if a law enforcement official needed to be sent.
This is a system I could get behind.
Yeah, sometimes you have to bite the bullet, but I tend to think the biggest reason should be: "Who is going to fix this thing in 10 years when Bill is retired or dead?"
Even if replacing it would lead to a 3 fold increase in employee productivity.
I have seen those kinds of productivity increase numbers thrown around for years, but honestly I have never see a good result. Usually the new system is slower.
I actually had H1N1. (Doctor diagnosed.) It was quite unpleasant, but I was never really in any danger. There were deaths, mostly the usual people who die from the flu. The old, the young, those with compromised imune systems. The scairy thing about H1N1 was that it also killed people that were not very old, very young, or with AIDS.
My doctor told me, that most of the people were dieing from H1N1, and were not old, young, AIDS patinets, etc. were seriously overweight. This little fact didn't get much media attention. Why ruin a good panic with facts.
I will keep that in mind going forward.
Thanks for the advise.
Like one of my other rules. When making up a statistic always add a few random decimals to the end. 97.432% of people will find them more believable that way.
I am a proud Canadian. I am not proud of my youngest sister. She is a total bitch and should pay her debts. This debt is as a result of her choices.
But any system where someone can suffer a relatively minor injury, (Broken ribs, and a punctured lung.) and be financially crippled by it for the next 10 years is seriously fucked up! Yet American people somehow continue to defend this system. The Canadian system is not perfect, but it mostly works and doesn't bankrupt people.
I have met one in 45 years, my youngest sister. I hear she is now on her way back, with creditors chasing her for over $100K of unpaid medical bills.
I am sure there are some others, but MOST Canadians wouldn't become Americans no matter what.
I came up with this exact idea about 20 years ago. But I thought it was just too evil to do anything with. I guess I should have at least patented it.:(
If I think about it logically.
If I were the type of scum sucking vermin who would produce malware, I would tend to target the less technically savvy computer users. What search engine would such a person be likely to use? Whatever one IE points to by default.
Bing.
My apologies to any scum sucking vermin who might be reading this. I am truly sorry for comparing you to malware writers.
as bad (or worse) than the US version of Red Dwarf.
That is not possible. Nothing can be worse than the US version of Red Dwarf. I have a true love of BAD movies and TV, but even I had to shut off the US version of Red Dwarf less than 10 minutes in.

I hit their website about once a year to see if anything has happened. :( Sadly still nothing.

You just described my last vacation. :) Happy times.

What is the copyright status of a broken record?
And there you have it... The exception that proves the rule. :)

And you look like a moron, with no concept of humour.
Always tripple all estimates. That way you always look like a miracle worker.
Next week on the Simpsons...

Signed, A proud Canadian.
At least those adds would be useful. As long as there was online ordering, and free overnight shipping.

What, both of them?
I am glad I am not the only one. :)
I am pretty sure my IT department already installed your software.

Don't you mean more cowbell?
They could replace street view with Terrorist View, showing all the best places for terrorist bombings.
Yes, I know not all people from that part of the world are terrorists. But that is a lot less funny.
