So this case is more about import laws than anything else?
Does the US have anything on the books about not being allowed to import goods in direct competition from the manufacturer?(I'd guess no, but I have no clue) Do our trade agreements not allow the import of goods from other countries that are not allowed for export. What I'm getting at is the US doesn't have a problem with the products being imported per se, but the country they are coming from does not allow the export of those items from anyone other than the manufacturer? (This I could see as being very likely)
If you are a guild leader, you should absolutely put it down. The amount of BS and drama you have to deal with is far less than you will ever have to deal with in an actual professional environment.
IIRC gravity also affects hyperspace, so while they use gravity for communication and propulsion their sensors are actually looking into hyperspace with the sensors.
Only the Red Court went down; the Black Court is still around, not many of them though; and White Court is still alive and kicking and appears to be on the rise.
Yamato took 11 confirmed hits and 2 unconfirmed hits, her sister ship took 19 torpedoes. Japanese were terrible at damage control, but with that many hits it may not matter.
If the distance is going to be bouncing around for various reasons it sounds like it isn't a good measurement. Personally I've always liked using light second as a measurement.
If a planet killer asteroid was coming for the earth, I don't think it would be too difficult to get a pass on making an Orion space craft to act as a heavy lifter.
And I'm not talking about the NASA Orion I'm talking about the DARPA project
Do you think that some sort of virtual reality interface would help?
Because I don't have any big band / swing era music on my computer but for whatever reason that is more or less all I'm listening to these days.
Yup this is exactly how I feel. I use Firefox because of the addons and I install Chrome on everyone else's computer.

I always liked this one, "An Ethical man knows what is right, a Moral man does it."
You want to know how I know you don't work in security?

Carriers do rule the ocean, you seem to be forgetting that their aircraft are very effective at attacking ships and subs.
I was under the impression that Phalanx is only "guaranteed" against subsonic missiles, but super+ are a crap-shoot at best
