Oh come on now, everything remotely political that negatively impacts someone's "team" is clearly the work of a government agency, most likely the CIA/NSA.

I'd like to see a citation on that.

I have professional training in driving (though I don't race competitively currently) and have a great many friends who do as well. Nearly all of them are what I consider excellent drivers (aware of surroundings, courteous toward other drivers, always signal, etc). I know full well that my friends with racing experience have been in far fewer crashes (on the road, not the track) than my non-professional friends.

FWIW, I have been in 3 crashes myself. 1x equipment failure (brake failure on older car, managed to mitigate the severity of the crash a great deal due to my training), 1x rear ended, and 1x hit someone in the rear (was that or hit an elderly man head on at 60 mph, who had turned the wrong way on the highway).

I'm certainly not saying that professional drivers are above failure, but experience disagrees greatly with your suppositions.

Having actually met a couple girls online (though both led to relationships in real life, one 6 year girlfriend, and one being my wife who I have been with for 8 years), I can't comprehend WHY this would seem enjoyable for anyone. Finding people on the internet is a viable (though equally precarious) alternative to a bar or being setup with friends (depending on your friends) but finding pretend people on the internet... the mind boggles.

I have a similar issue, though it seems specific to people. I can close my eyes and see many objects, but I could not describe my wife's face very well at all. Because of this issue, I had a great deal of trouble connecting names to faces. I've learned to instead associate voices with names, and then the faces are less important. I can identify a person by voice easily, but by facial keys, my error rate is very high. FWIW, I have an excellent memory elsewhere (and am often stated to have a "photographic" or "eidetic" memory by others, though I fear they don't know the full meaning). Most of my work in training my memory is by making associations to things. Music or numbers are the methods that work for me. I used to listen to music in college while studying, and found I scored notably better on tests if I was allowed to listen to my MP3 player while taking the test (though my results pool is limited, so correlation != causation should be obviously noted).
