I live right smack in the middle of a part of the US where white supremacists (nasty fucks they commonly are) are fairly common. The clods with confederate flags in their pickup beds sometimes rally in a nearby park. And yet I am unaware that they spend much of their time, let alone most of it, actually 'keeping down' or repressing racial minorities. Mostly they're too stupid and ill informed to be effective at anything like that. You don't want to mess with them, and they can be nasty, but their flavor of ignorance is mostly self-extinguishing. They are the sorts prone to keep to their own. Perhaps reservations should be provided so they can isolate themselves, inbreed and eventually die out.
Most Americans don't know that Palestinians are basically contained by Israel's neighboring states in holding pens, in restricted zones around Israel, to be used as weapons against Israel. They are not permitted to integrate into the other Arab states, even though the Arab state borders are mostly remnant lines from colonialism. A Palestinian Arab is worse off outside of Israel than inside it.
So they'll only be flailing around in decaying orbits for a few years under the management of any third rate operation that can afford to pitch them into the sky.
