The only exception is for secure areas where classified information is stored or handled. In those cases, the secure area is posted with big signs that cite the relevant federal law and the prohibited activities.

I plug a special RS-232 serial cable into the computer and the data acquisition device, and then run the program to offload the collected data and set it up for another run. It also has some features that let me analyze and graph the data, and export it to other programs.
I thought that it dropped support for 16-bit Windows applications. That's a problem for those of us that have some old programs that were never updated to run in 32-bit mode.

The same is true for high-performance military aircraft. You learn what you can from the fatalities, and try to fix the problems exposed by the accident investigation.
