I wonder if maybe it's just a natural progression of technology. We have monitors then projectors so why not a four way projector? And at the time TNG was on we had primitive VR technology.
As I recall induction charging is OK for a toothbrush that you only use for a few minutes a day and has hours to charge, and has a low draw on the battery. Smartphone is basically opposite of that.
Yea, who needs accurate information for claims that you specially refused to back up. Maybe if you were not so abrasive people would not go out of their way to look-up your stuff.
If it's not meant to be taken literal then how do you know when it should or should not?
Seems like all the stuff science/history has proven to be false or impossible is NOT meant as literal and all the stuff that has yet or has been proven accurate is supposed to be taken literal; in which case it's just a God of the Gaps argument.
Homeschooling textbooks cater to the religious crowd so much, that secular parents basically cannot even touch the science books as they will be filled with so much nonsense.
Yea, there are as many origin stories as there are civilizations. People who advocate for such things though, only want to teach the common Christian mythos on Creationism though; as anything else is just crazy of course.
As I recall you had to pay extra for the + versions and even then when it all went DRM free, some tracks were not available and the ones that were had to pay a few cents extra for.
Yea, some still use apps written for IE6 and haven't moved since.
Redoing their network to accept IPv6 is not going to be high on their priority.
Many yes, but far too many feel that "If that's the price we have to pay for safety, then so be it".
Which of course has SO much wrong with it.
Well Nintendo and Sony are both Japanese companies, while Microsoft is American.

Why Troi?
So she can crash my holodeck?
Easy fix... use multiple projectors and throw in some force fields for good measure.
It'd probably be the end of mankind.
Who would want to leave when you can stay in your holo-fantasy world with your holo-fantasy GF.
Well a holodeck does use Holoprojectors.

so.. A holodeck?

All printer manufactures do this.
It's done at the request of the government, for officially anti-counterfeiting purposes.
How do you account for the pattern then?
Just FYI that clause is in pretty much every contract you have ever signed.
Lease on Apt? Loan? Mortgage? Amazon, EA, Ebay, Newegg, etc...
Seriously, that's basically what sells a smartphone platform now.
You can have the greatest HW ever but if there are no apps to take advantage of it...

Except you were in fact advocating that it be taught, even if not along side Evolution, to teach it as a comparable concept of how things came about.
Evolution does not deal with the origin of life, and even less with the origin of the universe.
Wiki disagrees with you. It's ONE of the largest, it's not THE largest.
It's #6 on the list: Largest usable space

On the first day, Man created God.
But that's just it, one is a scientific theory, the other is religious dogma from a book full of inaccuracies and false information.
Furthermore why not mix in the origin story from the Egyptians, or Greeks while we're at it? They have as much credibility as the Christian one.
Same thought process here.

Don't some people still have the DRM music?
As I recall you had to pay extra for the + versions and even then when it all went DRM free, some tracks were not available and the ones that were had to pay a few cents extra for.
No one likes, or wants Grammar Nazis around.
Best to ignore them.
Someone should write up an Apocalypse story about how the word and it's technology was ended though over zealous lawyers and patents.
