Generally speaking, high up Execs of fortune 500 companies are not the kids getting beaten up.
You either got a fuck ton of talent and are sleeping with Lady Luck; or you got wealth&connections to get up there. Ever notice how they don't go looking for CEO's on Monster?
Gone are the days of a single guy with a great idea reaching the top. He'll either be bought out long before he makes it rich, and his idea stuck in some vault, never to be seen again; or squashed by patent lawsuits.
Yea, Nokia does not seem very strong in the US market, but aren't they like the go-to brand for Asia?
Some of the stuff they put out there is like light years ahead of what we'd have in the US. it's just it's all kind of "beta" and might not work as smoothly as the Western markets would like.
I don't go to Fry's often due to their return policy.
I've had far too many instances of them blaming a defective product on me and wanting to charge me the restocking fee.
The item will have the security/warranty tape on it as an indicator of tampering but they will say I took it off and broke it, then put a new piece on. BB is no questions asked pretty much.
Also BB is MUCH better for browsing for newer movies. Fry's has a bigger selection, but with them so cramped you can't just browse.
Yea, and boycott TV and Movies, sports, fashion, pretty much any and all forms of advertising.
People like to look at things that are attractive, that's why they hire Size 0's to model clothes, or Actors who are attractive to star in movies. People would not be talking about Captain America's ass from The Avengers if he was 300 Lbs and had a beer belly.
Maybe they need to spend a lil more on Reading Comprehension, based on your update it seems you got a pretty substandard education in that area.
Did I or OP mention politics? NO
BY and large though they have little input into what gets included in the curriculum. They do advocate for less, so they can have more time to help boost test scores, but the specific subject matter? Nope
Similar deal for me, but in our case we often did not have time to do the experiment, either the class was too short, prep would take too long or other kids would horse around. And then we would have to write the report on what SHOULD have happened.
Yea, but sadly it's so damn expensive to do anything but Public School.
Best you can reasonably do is some kind of After School stuff when they get home. Assuming they're not bogged down with hours of homework and memorization.
Teachers Unions don't have say in the curriculum. That's set at the State and Federal levels by the government; taking away the unions will just let teachers be paid even less then they are now.
Same for me, my Core stuff was in effect rote memorization from the textbook, but the non-Core ones were quite engaging and I still remember many of the lessons taught us then.
bring a jacket or hoodie, lay it over the basket, carry something around then pretend to be looking through the pockets while you're cutting it open under the jacket.

Well I noticed that not all of my DVDs and BDs have CC in English.
Yea, Apple is great at integrating existing technology and marketing.
Before them, no one really gave a shit about a phone's OS, it was clunky and unwieldy which was to be expected.
I can see it now...
They would replace Mgmt with "Yes Men", and a year later release the ZunePhone, Poop Brown and Pea Green color scheme.
Yea, often times they just budget fines like this into their operating expenses.
Yea, fines are always a slap on the wrist kind of deals. Very rarely will they ever seem to be of a size enough to make the company think twice.
Both Charities seem pretty good in review of their operations:
I'd hardly call either "poorly managed".

Yea, if I'm selling a widget for $5, and someone comes along and gives everyone $10 to buy my widget, then I am going to up my price to $10.
Colleges should make this type of practice public beforehand. It'd certainly a part in my decision to attend or not.

Oh yes, they never refused, but they made sure to try and charge me the restocking fee often enough.

"Like dissolves Like"
Damn chemicals, nature is already covered by dihydrogen monoxide!
Won't someone think of the plants animals?
Oh heck, just give 'em all SAMs and they can go hunt launching/landing spaceships. Problem solved.
Do you have the Instant-Ons?
Got a brand and model #?

Personally I don't like their charge up time.
I'll turn one on and it'll be five minutes or so before it's at full strength.
Used both cheapo dollar store ones to more quality GE and Phillips brands. I just refuse to use them now.
Well chances are you wont be using your hands. Bring along a small pocket knife, voila!
