hmm the Powerpuff Girls are slaves. The Mayor is corrupt and inept. Miss Bellum is a vamp, using her sexual power to control the mayor. The main villain is a power crazy Monkey (with an Asiatic accent), who, rejected in favour of pretty girls, turns his fallo-centric oedipal black rage against Townsville.
threats from more axes inhibiting movement certain weapons better than others grenades being useless for throwing distance but horribly louder diminished depth of field things falling at reduced terminal velocity air time limit
However it is the tried & tested: clear room, progress, clear courtyard, progress layout of the single person FPS. (though I've not finished it yet) in the same old locations : warehouse, offices, laboratories.
Where are the new environments at ?
Off the top of my head, some reasonable possibilities : zero/low gravity rooms, upside down places (remember the deathmatch one in Sin ?), long underwater battles, volcano with proper flowing lava with rocks in you can jump on that melt, ice floes, snowy places (though Unreal has a great snowy deathmap map), you have been shrunk, you have been giganticized, whole fairground (hall of mirrors, ghost train, target shooting side puzzles etc.etc.)
Though I will state now, I liked Zen in HalfLife. The indoor bits particularly.
They act as a archive/cache type system so that only recently used data needs to be on the HD and archive older files but keep them available on the same filename AND you can also see all the versions of the file you've ever had :
------ To access a snapshot, one would connect to a running fossil instance ("mount" it) and change directory to the desired snapshot, e.g./snapshot/yyyy/mmdd/hhmm (with yyyy, mm, dd, hh, mm meaning year, month, day, hour, minute). To access an archive (permanent snapshot), a directory of the form/archive/yyyy/mmdds (with yyyy, mm, dd, s meaning year, month, day, sequence number) would be used. Plan 9 allows modifying the namespace in advanced ways, like redirecting one path to another path (e.g./bin/ls to/archive/2005/1012/bin/ls). This significantly eases working with old versions of files.
I'd like to know your mail address and when you are visiting your mom so I can rob your house.
If you could just post me a username/pw for your machine I'll take a look around and see what *I* consider to be interesting, not what you think I'm interested in.
THE BIGGER-THAN-TV MOVIE Most digital still cameras today can also capture video big enough to fill a standard TV screen (640 by 480 pixels)
er no, PAL is 720x576, NTSC is similar
> But Canon's PowerShot S80 model goes one step further: it can capture videos at even higher resolution (1024 x 768 pixels). Why on earth would you need a video picture of higher resolution than the TV itself? Three reasons. First, your videos will look better on high-definition sets.
er, how about because presentation projectors do 1024x768
> THE FREE DOMAIN NAME... It took Microsoft... to make getting your own dot-com name free. Its new Office Live online software suite for small businesses, now in testing, will offer a domain name > Yes, you'll see ads on the screen (unless you pay for the adless version)
It's not available in 2005 AND having to view ads is not "for free". And if I can't have fuckmicrosoft@fuckofficelive.com then it's not free either
We've had domains for 1p in the UK for years under similar terms.
> THE HYBRID HIGH-DEFINITION TAPE JVC and Sony developed the first camcorders capable of recording in spectacular wide-screen high definition. This would have been a perfect opportunity for them to introduce yet another type of videocassette - some expensive, proprietary new format that wouldn't fit any other camcorder (and would generate millions in sales).
Ask anyone in the video industry (with a clue) and they'll tell you that Sony's DV tapes are already slightly incompatible with other machines.
If you can't get PHP to run safely without Safemode then you are lame
There have been plenty of holes in PHP asfemode
SuExec is your friend
I got a 2.5" IDE<>flash adapter and installed a 1GB cf with miniBSD

The aspects of underwater I was thining of :
threats from more axes
inhibiting movement
certain weapons better than others
grenades being useless for throwing distance but horribly louder
diminished depth of field
things falling at reduced terminal velocity
air time limit
pssst sequel
Did you play F.E.A.R. on a top end system ?
Because I am and graphically, it rocks.

What am I going to do with all my unpublished Twilight War Fan Fiction now ?
Quake4 hasn't failed, it's not even finished yet.
It will be finsihed when Rocket Arena and the other mods are released.
Then it will be the number 1 online FPS again.
Mark my word =)
if you fronted it with an archived storage system such as Venti then it would be far more attractive.
