Why is it bigotry to say that homosexuality should be stamped out, yet not bigotry to say religion should be stamped out?

Because: "Those Who Can Make You Believe Absurdities Can Make You Commit Atrocities". However don't be under the mistaken belief that it is an attack on religion, it is not. It is an attack on anything that is based on tradition, faith and revelation, as it happens religions are just a large target.

Dawkins may or may not be a bigot, however I can't agree that he is based on labelling religious believers delusional. For one, it is a conclusion that is based upon evidence, not obstinately held. Secondly I don't see how that comment shows Dawkins treating the religious with hatred and intolerance.

Delusion is commonly used to describe belief in anything without evidence. The anecdote you linked to perfectly fits this definition. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Without indication one way or another, the only logical conclusion is agnosticism. However, many of us have had such an indication.

Logical conclusion? That argument is actually a logical falacy. See Russell's teapot. Your ancedote shows that more investigation is required as currently the workings of the brain are not fully understood. Using a god of the gaps argument is not very convincing or a reasonable position to take.

    Your dictionary is broken:

Bigotry "a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices".

Calling religious believers delusional is accurate, not bigotry. If presented with evidence to the contrary then if Mr Dawkins still called religious believers delusional then I would agree with the bigot tag.

To be honest, having your graphics card lag a year behind is perfectly acceptable unless you absolutely need to play the latest games on top settings (or do heavy CAD, I guess, but I think that market operates differently from the consumer market I know so I can't comment on it). I'm currently using a Geforce 8800 GTS. Yes, 8800. From 2007. It still does modern games reasonably well and if it wasn't so RAM-starved I'd keep using it for another year. When I'll upgrade my gaming rig at the end of the month I'll put in a card with a six times the RAM, which should last for another four to five years. Yes, a videophile would argue that playing on anything less than 2560x1440 with 16xAA and all setting maxed out is an insult to human eyes but the opinion of any -phile only vaguely applies to normal users. I'm perfectly fine with "mere" 2xAA at 1080p; the gameplay is more important than the graphics anyway. (Case in point: Due to RAM starvation I play Borderlands 2 with fairly bad texture quality but the fact that I can't read Roland's Facebook post doesn't keep me from enjoying the game.)

I disagree, unless we have a different opnion on what is a modern game. I can't any recent games my old pc with an 8800gtx with a "reasonable" frame rate @1080p.

Australia has large urban sprawl and large commute distances and almost absent cycling infrastucture. Cycling in summer or winter (if you can handle it) mandates a shower after arriving at work. Wearing a helmet is crap but you can get used to it. But until there is enough housing density and infrastructure cycling is for the most part not pratical.

FTFY, Australia is a big place. There are plenty of places that have suitable infrastructure for cycling. The two biggest problems I have found with cycling is, the lack of secure parking and the lack of shower facilities.
