The point is: The SLR that you didn't bring because its too much of a pain in the arse to lug around is infinitely worse than the point and shoot you did bring.
However, I do agree with you, the nifty 50 is an awesome lens.
They should call it "bunch of guys standing around on a field for weeks at a time ball"!
You exagerate my friend. The bunch of guys never have to stand around for more than 5 days, that's not even a whole week! And they get time off for lunch and tea.
So all the people killed in vietnam were not collateral damage? Its impressive that you can drop four times the total bomb-load of WW2 while being unwilling to inflict collateral damage.

You may be right and bitcoins will fail. However if it does it will probably not be because of wasting electricity to produce a bitcoin. All currencies use energy to produce a representation of that currency. If the process was too easy then anybody would do it, just look at what has happened to the pound coin in the UK.
There is no intrinsic value in the notes I currently hold, there is only value in the idea that I can swap it for something else.
The difference is that with real currency, anyone is obliged to accept it as legal tender. I can't turn up at a bakers and be told "sorry your notes aren't accepted here for buying bread".
Whereas with bitcoins, it's only fellow loonies who will accept them in return for hard drugs, child pr0n, botnets or whatever it is you're so secretive about.
I am under no obligation to swap my services or good for your real currencies.
... than that bitcoins represent waste instead of production or wealth.
I don't understand your point. How do traditional notes/coins represent production and wealth instead of waste. There is no intrinsic value in the notes I currently hold, there is only value in the idea that I can swap it for something else.
A corridor is a corridor is a corridor. They are not really games, just stories when you click to continue.
Whatever happened to the real games like close combat and swotl? Every decision you make in a game should affect the end result, instead decisions in games like this are aggregated into "show next cutscene" [yes]/[no].
Goddamit, give peas a chance!
You are the viruses and bacteria inside you.
You might not prove that all gods don't exist, however you very well may prove that a particular god does not exist.
Is there a meaningful distinction between "Freedom from religion" and "Freedom of religion"?

Steam offline is a great feature until the game you're playing asks you to insert the Disc!

The 5 days part is only a recent change.
There really doesn't seem to be an optimal way to view the games.
Broadcast all cameras or PIP.
Are you assuming that the OP has been setteled in the same place for those 15 years?
An SLA will be little consolation once the data you rely upon is gone.

Punishment is cheaper & quicker.
If your hand offends you, chop it off.

Yes, but you would put it in the basket that doesn't pay kickbacks.

This technology has been arround for a long time. I don't understand why gateways still allow merchants to store CC details.
No thanks, Steam "just works".
Steam may not be as bad as EA, however it is still DRM, and "Steam just works" is demonstrably false.
From my experience pair programming, yes, boys do benefit too.

Calibrating works just fine. To check or adjust your device until it performs correctly.
You can be fairly sure that Kubuntu will not switch to Gnome3.
Is it judged by its ownership or is the ownership used to explain the results of the judgement?
