    I think it is much more important, that if she starts with 24 and is good and clever enough could be someone - if she grows up - who has a great impact on the european politic, just like the other young politicians, MEPs, MPs, PP members and so on - which I would really welcome

    Politicians are like diapers, you need to change them often and for the same reason.

    People will find something else to do while driving. Before cell phones it was a regular custom to read newspapers while driving.

    In all seriousness, though, why isn't it a campaign against texting while driving?

    Why bother when natural evolution can solve this problem?

    I gave both to my sister for her new laptops.

    The conclusion? XP needs constant attention, but none of them are critical and you can do it every 6 months and you will be OK.

    Linux, just works, but she has no chance to add anything to it. Printer works, but the scanner doesn't, USB 3G no go, .....

    There is no winner or loser, just differences.

    While the VPN is a good solution it is also the most visible if someone is tracking this activities.

    A ssh tunnel is the most discrete and while it is not a solution for everything like VPN, it does cover all you need for web surfing.

    Also you could use something like foxyproxy addon for Firefox and you can tunnel SSH for only the web pages you needs, thus reducing the chances to get caught to the bare minimum.

    And SSH tunnel is the most difficult type of connection for a firewall to block.

    On my old Netbook the battery will last the most on WinXP and I have tried both Win7 and Linux.
