    Yap. But SSH is much harder to spot or block, all you need is 1 open port and doesn't matter which one. And if you have a proper router at home, you can use it as ssh server.

    I'm a gamer too, and I bought a TV for PC only ( don't watch the TV since I was 16, a lot of years ago).

    On AVG reviews you will find a gaming section for every TV they review and the differences are huge.

    Don't buy crap LCD/LED/Plasma TV/monitors by walking into a shop and asking for advice.

    Do your homework and read some proper reviews.

    What about huge TV or expensive steering wheels from Fanatec. If you got the money and know what to buy you can still have some advantage. Maybe not as much as PC, but you can still do something.

    Since they no longer do it with Linux, who cares. Could it be that 2008 Firefox on Ubuntu was un-hacked? It's not good advertisement if a open source system can't be hacked, while the two commercial systems are hacked in seconds?

    Last year neither firefox nor Chrome on Windows OS were hacked.

    As well, all contestants should reveal all techniques they intend to use a part of their application. All these reports would be provided to the vendors after the competition.

    No-go, this exploits are worth a shit load of money on the black market. Unless you are willing to pay for the discovery all you will achieve is to push this people back in the underground and while you don't know how they work, at least you know they are out there.

    Explore, conquer, colonize. We are humans. Resistance is futile.

    There's intelligent life on our planet, and we are happily killing it into extinction for our own expansion. Looking at the way we behave at our own planet, I think it is extremely likely that we would inhabit every planet we can reach if it is inhabitable. And then take over sooner or later, with or without a struggle.

    It's in the line of expectations that the military get involved early on. Humans have never explored anything unarmed.

    Blame natural evolution or god for creating us that way.
