In my country I'm forced to watch commercial before the movie starts. This is when I stopped to go to the cinema and started to enjoy good food in proper restaurants instead.
As for bad movie quality, if you can't wait 2 months to see a movie in a proper quality, you are a marketing drone.
Now with Android showing the way, they realize how closed development put them behind. I enjoyed my Nokia phones, but I got frustrated with the lack of development.
In Italy you have Berlusconi who is a politician, entrepreneur, real estate and insurance tycoon, bank and media proprietor, sports team owner,... if this is not a fascist regime then it must be a dictatorship. Because in a democratic society this couldn't exist due to conflict of interests.
Proper ads are bad because they create fake desire in your mind. It doesn't matter how smart you are, they get under your skin. The only safe thing to do, is to not see them. The funny one in GTA are a different thing, they make you smile as opposed to real one, who makes you depressed because you can't afford them.
P.S: Sure we all love ads, this is why we remove all the stupid intros from the games, which only reason to exist are to delay the start of the game.
Define server importance and setup those machine to update and reboot earlier, after the first updates went through without a problem let the rest follow. Of course having a full backup done before an update is a nice thing to have.
You can fully automate the whole thing and be ready to stop it if anything goes wrong, hopefully shit will happen on less important devices.
I have compromised all the printers at my work. Now instead of "Ready" they say random stuff. And only because I'm good, I don't do anything more nasty with them.
Yeah I know, I'm bored. But it seems people like more "human" printers and no one complains.
but wouldn't it be more efficient to use that money to educate online banking users on how to avoid phishing scans?
If the FBI director (almost) falls for it, what are the chances Joe will spot the difference?
The techniques used gets better and better and you really must know what you are doing and be focused to avoid the scam. But maybe a better technique would be to give banks a rating, so we know which one has the highest amount of successful online scams.
There is absolutely no reason that I can think of for corporate IT to switch to Win7. Why waste time learning Win7? We have XP now and it works, sure it is not perfect, but what OS is. Supporting WinXP, Vista, Win7 is a waste of time and money. No, companies will stick to WinXP, until 4Gb RAM won't be enough, then we will switch to whatever OS is the best for 64 bit.
Home users are sheep and they will use whatever OS they get with the new PC.
Still I'd rather have a fake anti-virus then Norton Symantec or Windows Live Family protection.
At least the fake anti-virus will let me use my PC every now an then.:)
While I know jack shit about violins I do feel the difference for stuff I know and like. Of course the world is full of wannabes, but those who love one thing, can spot the difference easily.

I hope you are right, I really do.
Too little, too late.

Chill out dude. Go got a beer or a coffee, life is too good to waste it complaining about problems.
And if you get so emotional for 30min of Internet downtime you will probably die out of stress too soon.
and some hookers.

It was the same in Italy, another Fascist regime, but 2 days ago the law was overturned because it was found unconstitutional.
Nicolas Sarkozy is just a puppet in the hands of corporations. He is too fragile to stand up for any civil right.
cron is your friend and scheduled reboot.

Agree, if they do it properly it could be useful service.

Now I need to move to the coffee machine.
I agree with you, but remember, wear a mask for too long and you will forget who you are.

We can argue about the exact number, but they are mostly false positive.
Stop giving information. Let the music/film industry think they are still in Sweden. :)
When they are overclocked they become evil, thus they lie!
Start with removing them from local Admin group for a start.
A classic, they are more interested in stoping you using different no-cd cracks then they are in your security.
Uninstall this crap.

Why would the pointlessly ruin a 1959 Belair? It's not like they make those anymore.
Because there are still idiots who believe heavier is safer.
Troll disclaimer
Yes it still gives you an advantage, but the technology gives you more.
Project 2501 a.k.a The Puppet Master. I for one, welcome our Ghost hacking overloads.
Isn't the whole Internet used mainly for illegal stuff? I mean 80% of the mails are spam, but you don't see anyone banning mail servers.
