    I agree with you that keeping it from kids is a good idea, but it should be in the hands of the parents to decide. I think the real problem is that GTA is being used as a red herring to distract from more deeply rooted problems that each case has.

    I have to second this, I've used Git when working on OLPC and I've broken my repositories more times than I can count.

    Bazaar does not break.

    Well, even with your example, this might still be secure. If they buy it from iTunes, then their account information is also embedded into the file, which changes the hash.
