The issue of "legitimacy" is entirely irrelevant to the question of whether or not they provide a service or a product. That just makes them a grey market or black market provider.
A lot of the stuff on cable should be in the public domain by now anyways. So the idea that you can have a "free marketplace" is really not as strange as industry shills make it out.
It also doesn't help that ads tend to use technologies that are an obvious security problem. If I see a page at foo.com loading anything but foo.com I tend to get suspicious quick and am highly likely to block all of that untrusted unverified 3rd party stuff.
What kind of retard wants to pay for something once they've already paid for it once?
My post-digital music collection is much smaller for that very reason. I'm not going to buy certain albums again. I only paid a buck for them used the first time around anyways.
Not putting up with arbitrary useless nonsense is a more compelling principle in this country.
All this measure does is degrade the user experience and devalue the content. Getting rid of this kind of nonsense makes a DVD more valuable. Those of us that have actively sought to remove this nonsense probably account for ten times the revenue of corporate shills such as yourself.
Nonsense free content is much more valuable and more prone to beget more paid consumption.
I can start up a myth frontend from being completely unplugged in that amount of time. Once started, I won't have to worry about any of this nonsense no matter how many DVDs I might want to start watching.
It all depends. We are not factory stamped all at the same Foxconn plant. Different people have different requirements depending on body type and ethnicity. You can thrive on things that will be entirely inappropriate for other people.
This is a manifestation of American political correctness run amok.
We are not all equal. We are equal as a matter of law.
Between Cygwin and Unity, Cygwin is by far has the greater level of suckage. You would be better of just running Linux in a VM if you are that irrational about Unity.
Calling Cygwin "perfect" is overselling it by quite a bit.
What kind of idiot runs Windows on the bare metal just for IE?
The nice thing about a VM is that you can minimize your exposure from running Windows. It can be a locked down minimal install that will present a much smaller malware infection target.
You might even want different VMs for different test conditions.
If you are a "web developer" targeting IE then the Windows license is a non problem.
You're assuming that Dell actually cares about this thing succeeding. All of their previous attempts with desktop Linux clearly demonstrate this to not be the case.
It doesn't take a lot of effort to Google the names of "chemicals" on a food label so you don't look like a total ass when complaining about how a school lunch hamburger has B-Vitamin enriched flour in the buns.
So there's no print shops in Seattle good enough for a corporation or a snooty artiste? Really? I think you simply aren't trying hard enough and completely lack any imagination.
You have digital photos printed in the same places you would have had film developed 10 years ago. The transition to digital really didn't change much in that regard.
There are already ship rats that live on cruise liners because it's cheaper than other alternatives like a nursing home. There are also long term cruises that the lines don't seem to have any trouble selling either.
Compared to living in some overpopulated urban center (NYC,SFO,London,Mumbai,Tokyo) it might not be so bad really.
Why bother? The cost of Windows to a hardware vendor is negligible. Add in what they can earn from crapping up a PC with shovelware and they actually get paid for putting Windows on a machine.
If you think you are actually saving money with that approach then you are just stupid.
Although with Windows users that kind of comes with the territory.

My sex life being satisfying than you are likely to believe does NOT magically emasculate me and destroy my interest in boobs generally.
Actually, it kind of does the reverse.
I started blocking ads once they became annoying.
It also doesn't help that ads tend to use technologies that are an obvious security problem. If I see a page at foo.com loading anything but foo.com I tend to get suspicious quick and am highly likely to block all of that untrusted unverified 3rd party stuff.
Of course he doesn't want to pay for them AGAIN.
What kind of retard wants to pay for something once they've already paid for it once?
My post-digital music collection is much smaller for that very reason. I'm not going to buy certain albums again. I only paid a buck for them used the first time around anyways.
That's what the other guy said.
What other reason would you like to invent for this Self Defense Instructor being banned from the country?
Really, you're probably just humiliated by your country and can't handle it.

Yes. This is the heart of the matter here.
In England it is illegal to encourage people to protect their own life.
Thanks for clearing that up.
Some people genuinely are more "cave man".
It's called genetic diversity. Perhaps you've heard of it.

Dell never stopped hiding it's pathetic selection of cheap crappy underpowered machines.
Dell let us down big time.
You're far better off seeking out a Linux vendor.

If any of that stuff causes you to waste any significant amount of time then you seriously need to reconsider the career you've chosen for yourself.
I became an Ubuntu convert because a 6.x release "just worked" on a random Dell laptop.
Dell IS that stupid.
You're assuming that Dell actually cares about this thing succeeding. All of their previous attempts with desktop Linux clearly demonstrate this to not be the case.

Yes. This is why the new announcement is such a joke.
You're probably much better off buying from a Linux speciality vendor. Why be treated like an ugly redheaded stepchild by Dell?
Fascinating. The fact that hardware based transcoding is a disaster is why "professionals" use hardware based transcoding?
That simply makes no sense.
> You are thinking about this all wrong. You think you own that movie... but you don't, you own a license.
Your attempt to spread that pro-corporate propaganda simply won't work here. We know better.
So there's no print shops in Seattle good enough for a corporation or a snooty artiste? Really? I think you simply aren't trying hard enough and completely lack any imagination.
The whole question is pretty silly really.
You have digital photos printed in the same places you would have had film developed 10 years ago. The transition to digital really didn't change much in that regard.
Why not have hard copy backups?
They aren't mutually exclusive.
More copies are better regardless of medium.

No. Patents are supposed to encourage companies to disclose useful inventions that might not otherwise be disclosed.
It's not really meant for trivial sh*t.
The fact that it is primarily used for such trivial sh*t today is simply a corruption of the process.
