I get 30 of the 10mg Percocets a month for chronic migraines and chronic tension headaches (headaches all day every day suck...).
They helped a ton until I got a medication overuse headache (after ~3 or 4 months of daily use, in my case). Then I got into a horrible spiral of taking Percocet for a headache, which gave partial relief for 2-4 hours (usually), and was immediately followed by a worse headache. Lather, rinse, repeat.
So... moral is, more isn't always better, I guess. But yeah, 40 per half year is pathetically small if you get migraines or really bad tension headaches often and nothing else works. I didn't get addicted when I was taking 1-2 every weekday (and saving up on weekends to create a buffer). I got 20 or so sitting here, forlorn, while I try to get my MOH under control.
I trust you've tried all the tryptans, Migranal, muscle relaxants (if you get tension headaches), blood pressure medicine (beta blocker or calcium blocker (Verapamil is a favorite)), anti-convulsants (Topamax), SSRIs, TCAs, and whatever other crazy-ass guesses your neuro throws at you...
There's an entirely new network stack in VxWorks 6.6 or 6.7 (forget which). Hopefully Linksys et al won't be using the archaic 5.5.1 anymore... Wind River has been trying to get everyone to use 6.x for years. 5.5.1 is on life support, at this point.
Those are intended for floor lamps, though. And there's usually only half of a socket devoted to switched power (out of the 4-8 in a room).
Plus those are usually on the lighting circuit, which may (or may not) be pretty close to capacity already. So it might not be able to handle the load of an entertainment center (or whatever) plugged in via a power strip...
I know I "see" something like a flash of light whenever someone turns on a fluorescent light with magnetic ballast in another room. And I thought I was the only one who saw light when someone turn on the lights...
Indirectly, yes. Fixing the backscatter would mean tasking people to spend time on it. By not fixing it, they can have those people work on some adsense drudgery that will make Google more money.
Same thing would happen to a dvorak-layout typist when confronted by a qwerty keyboard.
The Windows installs at work default to qwerty on start up but will stay in dvorak if all I do is just lock the screen. When I reboot, I usually botch my password a few times before I realize what's wrong and switch to hunt 'n' pecking...
My qwerty-induced typing is way different from my normal touch typing...
If you *must* run windows for company apps, then Wubi probably isn't for you. It's more of a dual-boot type thing, cept it uses a file on your windows partition as it's 'hard drive'.
You might want to try out andLinux. It's a full on linux that integrates seamlessly inside of windows.
Personally, dual-booting is kind of a drag because of the constant reboots to get into Windows to do that one Windows-only thing, so I like cygwin or andLinux over Wubi.
Alt+0161 is the upside-down exclamation mark. Which is also the character that OpenSarcasm is advocating. U-0161 is something else entirely.
Don't know why TFS confused the two.

For Firefox, there's Long URL Please. Works great.
Nobody expected the Martian Inquisition!

...have you seen the Windows command line? cmd.exe deserves nothing less than open hostility.
Or maybe read Little Brother by Doctorow. And bring Doctorow with you, dressed in his red cape.
Accidentally mis-modded you.
This post is so my moderation will be remove, since I can't see any other way to undo moderation.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Anyways, just an ex-electrician rambling...
Is this is the release that has no more desktop icons?
- allow backscatter spam
- ???
- profit!

Is the Microsoft sponsored one better or worse than the one from Sun?

That is why I use most.
Also, some of us drive little cars and can't see around the giant SUVs that everyone loves these days.
Except when they sent it back in time, the orders got a bit scrambled and it ended up trying to kill someone named John Connor...
I can see it now... people dunking their cell phones into wine glasses to see how good it tastes.
Someone warn the soil farmers!
