    Don't forget one of the big 2-stroke killers in the USA was the as usual the EPA.

    Yes, with a 2-stroke spark ignition engine, you run the risk of sending unburnt fuel into the exhaust, or not expelling all of the exhaust at the end of the cycle. I think Lotus got around this problem by using direct injection technology.

    Also, beware that most turntables on the market these days are "digital".

    Here is a more detailed video about the Williams simulator. They can not only train drivers, but test new equipment as well.

    Racing is all about knowing the lines and racing techniques, and a video game can definitely teach you that.

    Actual F1 teams train their drivers using simulators. Basically a very expensive version of Gran Turismo.

    I think it's time that Congress look into market collusion and racketeering.

    Kodak is supposed to have competitive ink prices. The only thing that is keeping me from buying one is the paperweight status of most of the Linux drivers.

    If you ever are in the need of a used inkjet printer. Go to a college campus at the end of a semester. Preferably the spring semester (in the northern hemisphere). The dumpsters are filled with inkjet printers.

    One can go to the local Walgreen's drug store and get their cartridges refilled for $10.

    I've tried this, and haven't had good results. The cartridge just doesn't work right afterwards. I've had much better luck with remanufactured ink cartridges like the ones from Rhinotek. They're about $20 per cartridge, but I find them more reliable than the refilled ones.

    Create a passphrase which you prepend or append to every important password.

    I use this method all of the time, it works. You can use some really complicated, and unique, passwords with characters and numbers in them and remember it every time. No one will guess them either, unless you give away your method.

    Actually, bullet points are the correct way to use any sort of slide medium... it's just a reference for what is to be discussed.

    Then what are note cards for?

    The biggest problem is that speakers put up a Powerpoint bullet list and then just read from it.

    Yes, rule one of PowerPoint presentations: Never use bullet points.

    Rule 2: Limit the use of words as much as possible.

    PowerPoint is a wonderful way to use pictures and graphics to present material. Unfortunately, nobody does this.

    Look at all these carcinogens

    All in extremely low quantities and most of which are filtered out/ broken down by modern DPF and/or SCR.

    Diesel is not the dirty thing of yesteryear. Reports of hazardous exhaust is greatly exaggerated and outdated. Basically the only thing that comes out of the tailpipe is CO2 and H2O.

    And yes I am a diesel emissions engineer.

    Good observations by the parent. This farmer has only been doing this for two years. I think it's probable that there is enough residual fertilizer in the soil so he hasn't noticed the difference yet. Let's see what happens in a few more years.
