They do cost too much. Video games will cost you your social life, your sleep, as a result your health, and potentially your marriage or your job. That's assuming that you're married.
This system would help terrorists control all of the passengers on the aircraft. All the terrorist would have to do is take over the system and activate all of the wrist bands of the passengers to incapacitate them. After that resistance is futile.
How about being able to clear my browser history. I used Firefox 3.0 for about one hour before deciding to downgrade back to 2.x after I found out that you can't clear your browser history in 3.0
Phone companies in the US, maybe elsewhere, are legally required to facilitate eavesdropping under CALEA. End to end encrypted data services such as Skype and Hushmail have escaped this so far. Hushmail volentarily provides your private keys to the government so there is no need to legally require them to facilitate eavesdropping.

Everytime Avast AV tries to update a stupid box pops up that won't go away unless you click on it.
Goldmine Premium Edition is VERY buggy. Every time I call support they give me the "Yeah, we've never seen this issue before, we'll have to research it" response. Then the patch that comes out once a year never fixes the prominent issues. I'm talking about notes being randomly deleted from our database when working with the service tab. VERY annoying, and a useless feature when you can't rely on it.
How nice that the article "New Antivirus Tests Show Rootkits Hard to Kill" is right above an article about a company hard coding an OS into all of their motherboards. So we're supposed to trust that no rootkit will somehow end up on some of these boards when the consumer won't have the ability to see or make changes to the OS?
Also, who in their right mind would use an OS that can't be updated? Have we learned nothing about the importance of security in this day and age?
Thanks to all the porn sites my FRIEND goes on, it's not uncommon for my AV to pick up a virus every now and then. Come on, you can admit that you're the "FRIEND" and that you surf porn.:)
AT&T's main NOC is in NJ. This is the NOC that handles most of their T1 traffic and troubles. They also have a smaller one in Kentucky, but the main one is in New Jersey.
Maybe Microsoft should release a new patch every week, that requires the user to call a long distance phone number and manually enter in a 32 digit reactivation code. That would surely be a convenient way of avoiding piracy.
I wonder if this applies to home networks that are wide open. How would a home user be expected to monitor traffic at that level?
Another point (perhaps more valid) is this. Will companies with open wireless networks now simply lock them down so that they're no longer open, to avoid having to deal with this?
We need to get Bruce Willis to command a submarine down to the bottom of the ocean and seal the leak with a nuke!
Perhaps we can buy back the plans from China? Thank Clinton for selling them most of our nuclear secrets.

8======D I mean really! :D
Gives a whole new meaning to P.O.V. doesn't it?
One word. RADIUS Try googling "cracking RADIUS" sometime and see how much information you can find.
So when will they have these ready for production?

Why is it that every time I look through pictures for a Microsoft event, I can find a picture of someone toting a Mac?

I've seen the use of the word WOOT for a very long time, and I've always understood the origin to have the meaning of "We Own the Other Team".
