Why would AT&T step in? I believe they just started to sell HTC phones as well.
If HTC becomes a major player on AT&T, this would cause Apple to lose their leverage for sweetheart deals from AT&T.
Acura was a brand that was created purely for the NA market (because americans like shiny things/luxury brands). There cars used to be sold as Hondas in Japan. One example has always been the Acura TSX, which is a Honda Accord in Europe.
Wouldn't the better comparison would be to check the cost difference between alcohol after the prohibition era and bootleg alcohol during the period?
Regardless, it should still net some sort of income (as opposed to currently $0), as it would be commercialized like cigarettes and alcohol, therefore probably have some sort of special tax. But you cannot use the current valuation of the product as an indicator of how much money you're losing out on.
I'm sure she was talked out of Windows, when Dell probably said they would charge her money for a Windows XP license (she probably declined Vista, Dell charges I believe now to downgrade). Or that she had to cover any extra costs.
I doubt it. For Apple the more lock-in the better. They can spout all they want about how the music companies are "making" them include DRM, but actions speak louder than words. If you look at all their products and integration, to Apple, locking the user into their ecosystem is the top priority. DRM helps them do that.
This wasn't the case for me. XP was magnitudes faster than Ubuntu on the same hardware (older hardware though 1.5 GHz with 768 megs of RAM). Still using Ubuntu though.
C'mon man, what do you think the S stood for. Science!
You don't need to buy new hardware. I thought with Boot Camp and all the snaz you can install windows and linux.
Wrong. Some of the phones use Qualcomm's Snapdragon which is not ARM based. Nexus One, HTC Desire, Incredible are Snapdragon.
Elan bought the original patent from Logitech.
Elantech makes the multi-touch trackpads in the eeePC.

I can add/remove ringtones/pics from my phone over bluetooth just fine. I have a LG Venus on verizon.

Get physical access to computer. Take computer.
Um .. don't you need iTunes to download iTunes Plus tracks?
iTunes is pretty much bloated crap and way worse than the Amazon downloader.

Too bad all other music media players can do this automatically for you. So much for Apple "usability" and "intuitiveness".

Is GSM even prevalent in Asia? I thought in Japan and Korea most users are on CDMA. Could be wrong though.
I think they went into real-estate.
So it's pretty much like all their other articles.
There is none. It's just marketing.
