    I'll jump ship for 10%.

    Honestly, if they will not give me raises to keep me there then I'm off to the next one. It's worked great so far. Every job change nets me at least 10% and a promotion. My salary has gone up faster than anyone silly enough to stick it out at a company waiting for them to bless them with a raise.

    Oh yes they can. go look at some of the low cost "maple syrup" Places like Walmart have "honey" and "maple syrup" on the shore shelves that are nothing more than flavored corn syrup but sold as the real thing. But when you taste it you know it's fake.

    In fact that crap is just about as good as outsourced IT.

    The sheer incompetence of the outsourced IT will do far more damage. It's amazing how clueless and completely useless most of these offshore companies are.

    Get a haze filter. works wonders.
    Also get an old fully manual camera, Fight attendants ask from time to time but all I say is "mechanical" and they say ok...
    I am starting to carry a medium format old manual camera now on trips as I can take better photos and take them whenever I want Plus it's cheaper than most low end DSLR's if you are sane and accept used gear.

    "If the plane has issues during that period, and they find your device is *not* in airplane mode, you get fined/sued/put on no-fly list."

    I prefer they allow all the other passengers to kick the crap out of the person and break their toy. People need the fear of getting an ass whoopin for their actions, it is a big problem with the USA today. People get to act like babies without repercussion.

    YES I DO. Because we had 1st class treatment all over the plane and we did not have cheapskates trying to stuff TWO carry ons that are too fat for the overhead in there or asking, "can you put this under your seat" No I cant take up my foot space because you are too damn cheap to check your fricking bag.

    All fingerprint scanners are utter failures. Anyone that has dealt with them for the past 5 years has known this.

    The fingerprint system in it is to keep friends from grabbing your phone and posting photos of their junk as you.

    On my 4S it's great (has been for weeks, Yes I had it for 3 weeks now) on my horribly out of date Ipad 3 it is just fine and the Wifes 5 it's speedy.
    On par with what it felt like before the update. No slower no faster than my two nexus 7's or the Nexus 4 I also carry every day.

    I did notice that a couple of the older apps that I have been refusing to update because the scumbag dev's added ad's into the app I paid for have problems with the new OS though.

    Like your assumption? as you seem to assume far more than you know.

    It is "unbreakable" and anyone that has a clue about cryptography knows it. Yes there are weaknesses that are always human induced mistakes, like re-using the pad.

    But there are still communications that were send during WW-II that have not been cracked that used a 1 time pad. For very high security it is still used to this day.

    It's not shiny and has a higher number. Remember most fake computer "professionals" like higher version numbers for no real reason other than it makes them feel good.

    Because those residents refuse to participate in local politics they let taxes get raised heavily. Where were all those lazy residents when they were talking about taxes? where were they during the election to vote out the politicians that raised taxes?

    Sitting at home bitching about it is what I am betting on. You have no right to bitch about taxes if you don't get off your ass and do something about it.

    That said, is the town rural? and has property values plummeted? might be a good town for a Libertarian takeover.
