    $4.00 a month is a complete lie unless he get's no phone calls at all. the CHEAPEST prepaid plan is $10.00 a month for minutes that slowly deteriorate or requires a "reup" to keep the number active. and this is for such a miniscule number of minutes it's ridiculous.

    I burn through at least 300 minutes a day on the cellphone with tech support or customer support. Plus the smartphone does far more as well as let's me process credit card payments from the customer, pull up documents, etc... I can invoice a client and send them the invoice right from my phone while I stand there, or send them a PAID invoice if they run their credit card. All with that little device in my pocket.

    I'm guessing that RobLimo is living off of the Slashdot riches because he can't be working with a $4.00 a month cellphone bill.

    Right now I am disappointed with every one of them. They all are either nutjobs, or screwballs with a nasty agenda. I am really hoping the repubs put up a decent candidate this year that is a real leader.

    But only for the oooh shiny crowd. I simply held off buying any hard drives. Would I have liked to expand capacity? yes. Would I have liked to buy 12 new machines? yes.

    Did I kill people or lose money because I did not? no.

    Honestly, the price jump was only because of idiots that rushed out and bought drives when they heard of a possible "shortage" and thus created a shortage.

    If they can hire young fools for less pay and abuse them, they are happy with the substandard product they get out of them. It had a higher profit margin.

    I think a lot of other people are the same way, Highschool was NOT the best part of life, why return to see people from a time in your life that does not matter?

    College Alumni and Fraternity gatherings? sure. Hgihschool? Why waste time and air fare?

    WE could have though. the Apollo program system was designed before the first launch, the orbital stuff was just making sure we did not end up killing astronauts on the first try and horrifying all of america. we could have easily landed on the moon with apollo 1, no testing, just go.

    everything from apollo 1 to 11 was safety testing.

    IF we were able to put a hubble telescope out around mars or even further out where it's a lot colder, we could really take advantage of things.

    Instead we blow more than the entire NASA budge air conditioning tents for a war in a god forsaken land that will end up with another dictator within 10 years anyways.

    But then I support destroying a 16 year old girls life when she kills a motorcyclists with a car. We need to increase personal liability of driving to make people stop being morons.

    If you ran a red light and hit my car, you should be responsible for ALL damage to my car and replacing it with a new one.

    you are right, because in both cases my family get's every dollar you make for the rest of your life. the legal system is the solution in that situation.

    WEll as you dont know anything at all about flying let alone commercial pilots, let me inform you.

    none of what you dream up is happening up there except for the bad pilots. i know several commercial pilots, they are busy up there with checklists, comms, and do not have time to chat up the stewardesses. There was a little thing that happened in September of 2001, they keep the door locked for the flight.

    But you go ahead with your fantasy, it's just like all the fantasy reported on fox news.

    If they hire dumb programmers that wont use a fall-through case statement to catch any non matched values, then yes it will be bad. It seems a lot of CS grads are being taught stupid things recently.

    Only n00bs think it is bad form to use a fallthrough. real programmers test for cases that they cant think if, I.E. a fall-through catch all.

    Robotics and automation programming is a lot harder than writing angry birds kids. you cant listen to your CS professor who thinks he knows everything.
