On the same note, Call your Dentist "doctor" or "doc" they really appreciate that as the MD's constantly tell dentists they are not doctors. Yet dentists do more to promote better general health than any MD.
Give me 8.5" by 11" or A4 size screen with the resolution to replicate a FULL PAGE OF TEXT.
Why cant these tablet makers get it through their heads? 1200X600 = too small I want to see a full page and annotate it. Otherwise it is another leisure toy and not a real tool for education or work.

A sports car is more impressive to a lady than a 6 digit Xbox achievement point number. A motorcycle is far more fun than ANY driving game on any gaming platform. Racing with your local racing club on a real track is far more fun than any game. $10,000 can get you a nice Miata and all the racing upgrades to really tear it up at the track. a 1.8 with a turbo in a miata makes for real fun on a real track (not a redneck oval) Hang gliding is an absolute rush. etc....
That's why I use Silverstripe. I can take ANY website and turn it into a silverstripe theme in short order. Writing custom modules to do custom things is really easy as well.
Joomla is great for the "my site looks identical to yours" group of rapid deployment. But when you want to do really fancy or different things (menu navigation in a 2X4 grid) suddenly it's a major pita. Plus converting a customers HTML site to a Joomla site is a raging pain in the butt.
Door knobs are impossible to get a fingerprint from. Only bizzare freaks use their fingertips to turn a door knob. Most people use their palm or lengths of their fingers wrapped around it. Therefore doorknobs dont have fingerprints. Ask a cop, they dont even dust them.
Turn on a top burner, set it to high, apply fingertips for about 3 minutes.
Viola, fingerprints all permanently changed.
Disclaimer: You will feel a crapload of paint for about 3 months while the 3rd degree burns heal. you may get infections and die. Consult your doctor if you experience fingers falling off.
for a less permanent solution, sand them off. Causes butterfingers as you lose your ability to grip slippery items.

Very rarely do Crime scene investigators get good fingerprints. Go ask a real one, and stop paying attention to utter fantasy like CSI. Most detectives cant stand that show and how utterly inaccurate and flat out wrong it is.
Light aircraft that is not 50 years old also dont have a problem. I have done AV work at several of the Aircraft shops around here. Every one of them have told me that the phone and wifi myths are just that. Myths..
Unless you are flying a 1958 Piper cub that has never had it's gear upgraded, you dont have a problem.
Hell I have installed WIFI in Learjets that are 40 years old to support the Crestron 6X touchpanel to deal with the in flight entertainment.
Their biggest gripe is Bluray players... needing a network connection for updates. The in flight 3G dont work at cruise altitude and they worry about a disc not playing because of updates needed.. Rich guys that own these are really whiney..
iPhone and Android makes you press a button on screen to dial a number from a webpage. Why is this not the case for the WM OS? there should be no possible way to initiate a dialing. Push the number to the phone interface, but it can not dial until the user presses the dial GUI button.
install a blocking hosts file and privoxy. It stops 99% of all that crap. dont leave it up to the browser adblocking... stop it before it can even get to the browser.
you chose to use Microsoft, you get to pay the piper......
My wifes Ubuntu box crashed when its hard drive failed... I recovered her user directory to another drive and reinstallation of all software was easy...
Same for my mac.. I can install a fresh OS and not haveto reinstall any of my apps.
Most of the crap that comes in a cardboard box or plastic container is utter crap to begin with.
If you want to eat "safely" then dont touch anything that in packaging. go to a meat counter where they can cut and wrap your meat, go to a market to get your veggies... Buy flour to make your own pasta and breads if you cant find a good bakery that uses decent ingredients.
