    Driving a Bugatti Veyron? you pay $22.50 per mile for the tax.
    Driving a 1995 Civic? $0.05 per mile.

    Very simple is barcodes on the tracks and a reader. takes less than $500 in parts and is easily retrofitted to even 300 year old rail road lines.

    Sorry, but ALL smart TV's suck.

    Give us a place to dock a Roku or ATV and call it done. LG/Sony/Panasonic/Etc all utterly suck at the "smart" part. actually they all utterly suck at software and firmware in general. All of them have user interfaces that are train wrecks.

    These Firefox Tv's will have a bastardization all over in them. Like how SHARP shovels advertisements at you. Buy a $2600 Tv set and you have Ad's on screen unless you unplug the network and never use the smart functions. WTF is that?

    Because I not only run adblockers on my PC's I run Site WIDE adblockers on entire networks. nobody at work sees any ad's.

    Until Advertisers and websites Stop serving any ad that is more than text or a jpeg, They are all getting blocked as they are an infection and attacK vector.

    Web administrators that allow anything but a safe and small Ad that is flash, Java, or Javascript based are internet TERRORISTS.

    In general we think of a generation being about 25 years - from the birth of a parent to the birth of a child. We also generally accept that the length of a generation in earlier periods of history was closer to 20 years when humans mated younger and life expectancies were shorter.

    So we have them that have outlasted a human generation and are still in operation to this day.

    Rust only happens in the presence of oxygen. and I have seen sealed systems that are flooded with noble gasses that will absolutely stay in like new condition for 10,000 years unless the polymer seal fails massively. oxygen intrusion would be so slow that they would probably still be OK 5000 years after a seal failed.
