I think I need to take a step away from/. because if I see one more person write a post about, "I expect the world for less than a Chinese sweatshop worker gets paid in a day.", I'm going to freak the fuck out.
Jsut don't do to a Chinese sweatshop. Cause you know, they'd want the world for less then what they get paid also.
Are you surprised that you would have to pay more for a HD signal vs. the "crappy low-quality" signal you currently get? Were you also surprised that you had to pay more for a HDTV vs. a "crappy low-quality" TV?
Certainly there is fun.. The anticipation to see if you are going to win or not. The shared experience with those around you. The conversations and socialization with the others you are playing with (Dealer included) are all "fun" and entertainment.
And you 'lose money'(aka spend money) to get drunk and distracted at other places.. AS long as you don't lose more then you can afford you're all good.
Bah... You lose what you can afford too.. Figure you'd be spending the money doing something else for entertainment. Many forget that's what gambling is, entertainment.
You'd spent less at the casino. That is, unless you get all craxy with your betting and blow through stacks of cash like a fool. Which, well is what most probably do.
like how some Koreans complain about Japan invading them over the past few hundred years and the domination from 1905 until 1945 as reasons to dislike Japan and Japanese today.
Umm... That's pretty recent. There are still a lot of people around that were alive and remember 1905 - 1945....Seems if you fought between 1905 - 1945, you'd still be ok to have some dislike. Then of course, they engrained that disliek into their kids. It can take generations to lose it.
Seems you have two options: You can create a game the customer wants or the game you want.
I think the previous suggestions about hints being unlimited on a "practice" mode and limited on regular is the best solution. Those that want easy mode get it, adn those that want a challenge get it too.
people would be even worse at their class than they all ready are.
Something I am about to experience. Rolling my first Tank class ever (in any game), starting at lvl 55 seems a tad intimidating. Normally people would expect at that level, that I would know how ot tank. Lucky for me, everyone assumes that since your a DK, you don't know your class!
Having recently purchased a home, I was worried. My Signature is rather short, and you cannot easily see my "full name". I was worried I would have to make a new signature showing my full name. In short, I did not have to. They wanted the same signature that was on my driver's license, bank account, and pass port.
So, based of my experience, he would not have to sign anything different then he normally signs.
What I do not want to see are several comments, all from the same IP address, originating from the same Yahoo Mail referrer, using e-mail addresses which bounce, and giving words of praise about how awesome everything was for them.
I agree with this, backed when I said: "pretending to be different people; that would be crossing the line"
I was commenting on this portion:
Are you noticing an uptick in traffic from mailed URLs with friends, family, and others (sometimes paid via Amazon's Turk) to attempt and negate what is being said on your website/forum?
I would think that you would allow the comments if they came from separate people, even if those separate people were friends and family members. At least they are not pretending to be different people; that would be crossing the line.
I probably think that way because I am not a fan of censorship. You're providing a soapbox and limiting who can use it. Which is your right, it's your soapbox.
If anything it would promote people to go and try the restaurant and make the decision on if it is good or not on their own. After doing this a few times, they would find out if their tastes fall in line with your or not. Assuming they do, they would learn to trust what you said, regardless of what anyone else posts.
Since when does the definition of capitalism involve selling to an individual vs. the masses? I, and the dictionary, thought it was about the government vs. an individual's right to ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth.
an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations, esp. as contrasted to cooperatively or state-owned means of wealth.

Or they are at the low end casino's that have to have them to get business.
Sounds like you missed out and some of the fun... Pole Dancers and 'free' drinks sound liek a nice way to spend an evening...

The lack of a specific goal leaves many people twiddling their thumbs. Not every game is for everyone. No problem with that. :-)
Niche games are great. Wish more companies would focus on the Niche market and not attempt to be the "WoW killer"

I remember it going +15, +25, +35, and Vengeance was +45.
The Original Poster called with with Bruce Wayne using Windows and Batman using his own personal OS.
Unless you owned one of the original "Vengeance" weapons, the ones that did +45 dmg. Did they every completly remove them?

Min. Wage is still less then $8/hr. Not everyone is a college Grad, and even some of them are woking at McDonalds still.
I know a guy that lives in the woods that would faint at the thought of $20 a month.
Amazing how different people have different standards of living.
I am sorry to hear that. They are a horrible company who overcharges.
The purpose of my post was not to provide an all inclusive post of what Capitalism is. The post was relevant to the post it was replying to.
Actually, forget about the internet.
