you should learn little more about the law before making half ass'ed comments. As other guy said, Samsung made an offer, apple refused it and didn't even try to negotiate. So its Apple that failed in the matter. Samsung has every right to defend its patents and if you say its unfair what they did then everything apple has done is unfair as well. Groklaw article explains it all, http://www.groklaw.net/article.php?story=20121007194355579 you should really read it.
Yea its Apple its alright for them to file for product bans but its not alright for anyone to file for bans of its products. Apple has some sad ass double standards.
Um if you spend that much time with a cell phone glued to your head, why not get a hands free option. then he wouldn't have that much time with the phone to his head.
Sadly for most ppl another isp won't be an option. for most its cable or DSL and most DSL is junk slow. lucky for me my isp wasn't on the list of isp's that bent over for this crap
There is no money in TV market, most companies in the market lose money only a hand full make money. Apple knowing them would sell their tv's at 50-100% markup compared to next closest set. Only apple fanboy idiots would buy them, everyone else will say screw that and get cheaper ones that are proven to be good quality tv.
Don't forget that some of the jury even made their decision on day 1 of the case who they sided with. which right there IMO is valid grounds for an appeal.
When you take things outta context it can sound very bad. I mean look at sports announcers, listen to with a certain mind set and if you pick out little clips and phrases they can sound very dirty.
think about it this way, apple locks their crap down so much about all you can do is click the button to take a picture, where as BSD and linux you can dig in the root of the system and screw it up. Kinda a bit of a difference.
Apple blamed the end user for the issue til they finally fessed up that it was their hardware/software? They did it with the whole antenna and grip of death that cause massive connection issues.
Consider its only in a limited few area's so how can be put under nationwide when its only in a few area's where as charter, comcast, etc are in every state?
well you think about it little more research and some work that 300$ windows box turns in to a very cheap OS X machine if you are one those ppl that needs to use OS X
Least they are not going down without a fight after the GPS industry screwed them over. They PAID spectrum to start a business on but interference with GPS devices WHICH clearly is the fault of companies that made the GPS devices screwed them bad.
Show's how little you know, the year BEFORE iphone was even announced, samsung released a little device f700. If you compare the 2 side by side they look very similar so on topic of who copied who first, that would be apple copied samsung.
I would guess its intel talking about cpu side of things, the rest they don't really have control of R&D wise cept wifi on laptops but intel has some some decent power saving on wifi side of things in their chipsets
So how does it work MS is doing same thing Apple is doing yet for apple its alright and MS its a gov investigation? seems kinda fishy to me that Apple is allowed to do all this crap yet MS even comes remotely close and they are lookin at possible fines. How does MS have a monopoly in a market they don't even have 1 device released in tablet market?
Even in OS X apple includes Safari in it as default? I know a few ppl will try to use market share agreement but that is not the point if MS can get sued for just including their browser Apple should be sued as well for including safari.

Not sure about anyone else but this is a federal lawsuit just waiting to happen. To say you can't hire someone that smokes is kinda discrimination.

Yea Apple has proven that with massively board patents and stuff that is clear prior art.
Apple's claim of 8hours LTE useage i think is very optimistic.

So wouldn't the ipad be effected under this since apple does the same thing on their ARM device?
Um look at how much crap companies like dell, hp, etc have loaded on to the machine? not like they don't have a say in the matter/

Apple's iOS blocks people from changing default browser off Safari, But MS gets sued and Fined for Even Including IE? How da hell does that work?
