are you sure apple don't care about PR? all bad PR over samsung case has sent thousands of ppl buying samsung sIII phones which means all those ppl won't most likely buy the new iphone in a few weeks.
or they did and apple realized their PR lately been pretty bad with whole Samsung trail which as each day comes is showing how bad the jury messed that up. Apple gonna say what ever is in their best interest as if they gave all that info to the FBI it would be a major privacy issue since its pretty much tracking millions and millions of people.
Being SIII wasn't part of the lawsuit (even though that verdict we know won't stand cause complete F up by the jury), so its not labeled as infringing on any those patents (if they are even valid patents) ?
Linux is a pain in the ass if you are not a linux nut. For windows if you get a new video card for expample, install the card boot computers install drivers from the CD, on linux its not that simple as when you install the drivers least from my past experience x11 screws up and i get stuck at CLI prompt trying to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. I am pretty good with computers and its a pain for me, think about how bad it would be for someone that is not as good with setting things. Least with windows if the driver is messed up it defaults to a default MS driver so you can get in to windows desktop and fix it, Linux you are stuck with a command line prompt and less you know what you are doing you are pretty much S.O.L.
a recent graph i seen, show's that PC game revue will surpass consoles in next 1-2 years. So saying PC is dead, is a delusion by apple fanboys. PC == cheap, Apple == expensive. no company besides apple gets away with huge massive over pricing on hardware. they are the monster cable of the industry.
109 pages of jury instructions, 700 question's to answer no way that can be done in 22 hours less they went in to deliberation with mind set up they were gonna side with apple on about everything. a decent jury would reviewed all the devices in question for each patent and that would take a while.
Over all GPU does impact FPS the most cheap one vs little more expensive one, but to say cpu has no impact is wrong. Overall its impact is very small but there is some.
i agree "expenses plus extra for his time there" but 75grand the guy will say anything in apple's favor then no matter how untrue it is. Hell Samsung could argue he to jury that if they paid him that he would be in samsungs favor bashing apple so can't take anything he says at face value.
Reason why is cause they were rls'ing new version of mac os x next day and within a few months the iphone 5 would be out, most mac nuts won't buy the old phone when new one is close.
Um look at how many chips inside ipad and iphone are made by Samsung. Gotta wonder when that will come back to bite apple suing the company that supplies a majority of their chips.
If You Can't Innovate, Litigate. Android is dominating the market by about 2 to 1 margin over apple. SO they are doing only thing they can to block them, lock them up in court is complete load of shit lawsuits.
I think even though they do waive all liabilities in the EULA when they don't even adhere to their own policy itself I think that removes the waiving of liabilities on their end to allow them to be sued. Kinda Like if a site did that for their EULA but stored all PW and CC info as plain txt. since they didn't do anything to protect data they shouldn't be allowed to say you waive liability when they get hacked.
Um in the round 1 of Apple minus Steve === Apple was on verge of bankruptcy. He was very important to Apple (No i aint no apple fanboy, i hate apple with a pashion). And Apple without Steve leading Apple looking at a very possible bankruptcy again in the future at some point cause i doubt they will be able to innovate like they did with Steve around, example of their failure to innovate == them suing their major competitors for everything possible the last 2 years.
Less I read this wrong, "Tokelau has a population of about 1400 and they have access to electricity for between 15-18 hours a day." or misunderstanding of but they lack electric for 6-9 hours of the day.
seem to remember a study years about by a company that found hiring US people for their phone support was either cheaper or made them more money then using cheap ppl of India. All cause the fact when they pay an american to do the job the people calling for help can understand them and in the end are happier then tring to talk to a guy that can't barly understand the customer and customer can barly understand the phone support guy.
agreed, its dumb to assume your calls can't be tapped. Its like your using WIFI at McDonald's and thinking you are 100% secure. MS has to work within the law.
Um you guys got off topic, Apple on iOS forces use of safari, they don't ALLOW you to set default browser to anything else. on windows you could change default browser at any time you were never forced in to IE.
What about iOS and the fact they force safari browser on you. Don't even allow to change it off the default browser? gonna go after apple any time soon? been going over MS for less.
um i think its smart of them to shutdown those, if you get hacked not exactly smart idea to wait for it to happen again before you check other area's as well.
Since apple tried to sue then with a bs patent they must be seen as a threat. This suit is nothing more then a stall tactic by apple to hopefully get a ban on import of HTC device even for a week or a month its a win for apple if that happened
Well what are chances police and FBI are open wifi point? which this covers and not wpa2 or something encyption

no you are thinking of China, they are ones that steal everything and claim as their own.

anyone else see him spending 136 hours as kinda fishy? did he really spend that much time?

When was last time you went to a car dealer and decided to take a test drive of a car and they made you pay for it?
